Facebook ads price increases?
A while back I was running a couple ads on fb everything seemed fine but later on it seemed like the cpc just randomly increased, I remember one guy mentioning how his ads weren’t valuable anymore because they used to be around 0.06 per click and randomly out of nowhere just turned the be 0.3 is this still the case? Anyone know what caused this change? If it’s on purpose or not? As I heard from other people mentioning that their converting ads randomly stopped converting, which caused us to just switch to Google at the time but maybe considering going back to fb. Looking to hear any opinions

It could also be that your ads have hit ad fatigue. This naturally happens with all creatives and means you need to test new creatives. Every ad has a shelf life, especially now that Facebook is so heavily creative focused. I personally make sure there is a continuous creative fly wheel, testing iterations of winning ads but also new angles and hooks to make sure my audience never gets bored of seeing them. Hope this helps
New Here... 💪
Hello I got tired of lead gen companies that dont deliver good quality leads for my roofing and general contracting business. So, I took the initiative to learn how to do that myself for my business... Any tips on where to start?? Thank you...

Agree with @Jose Covarrubias in terms of determining the platform better suited to you. I know there is lots of success to be had on Facebook as that is my area of expertise but Google is heavily search driven and the intent could potentially be higher however so could the CPL. I would say do some research on creating good visual ads. Dara Denney is fantastic for this. The idea is not to just get people to see your ads but actually act on them and she is fantastic at helping you improve scroll stop and hold rates while also increasing your CTR. Facebook is heavily creative focused currently so this is probably where you are going to see the most impact when it comes to running your ads. Any questions, give me a shout. Would be happy to give you some more advice
Ad Spend in Q4
Curious what your experience has been in Q4 with Cost per Lead and Cost per Acquisition (especially since the election). I was getting great results with a campaign initially, like 9x ROAS as unrealistic as that is to maintain. Then everything went cold.

You have to take into consideration seasonality. This time of year, poeple's priorities change so what is it that you are advertising? There is naturally a slump with leads leading into the new year, I have personally found, and then it picks up again in the new year. Also, look at your positioning. Can you position as a new year offer, so something that can be claimed or redeemed in the new year? This may also help

Marketing Advice
Service Based Business Hi, I’m the owner of a dry cleaning business in Dallas. We’ve built our customer base solely through word of mouth, with no formal marketing efforts. Now, I’m looking to take the next step and grow the business by reaching new customers. I’d love to connect with other business owners—whether in dry cleaning or other industries—to share insights, strategies, and ideas. Let’s collaborate and help each other thrive! Appreciate any comments or like to help me reach levels 😉

Always start with the problems you solve and then communicate those through your ad creatives. Lots of Angle testing will help. Focus on the customer and not the business and you will find a winner! Welcome and good luck!

Hey guys, hope you are all well. My name is Bianca and have been a media buyer for the last 6 years. I started out with an agency but went down the media buying route when I was hired by Jordan Platten at Affluent. Looking forward to connecting and sharing knowledge!
