Is education equal schooling
Does education means going to school?A group of people travelling on interstate coach. A professor claims that schooling is getting an education! A teacher in the group says she doesn’t agree because her mother didn’t go to university but she was the wisest person she knew. In the same crowd, there was a young auto-mechanic asked the professor, if someone who never attended school but who could build a house, repair machines, and employ other people, is that person uneducated? The professor insisted that education begins with school. A farmer seated nearby disagreed with the professor, and said that schooling begins at school but education begins at birth. He said before schooling was introduced, who taught farming, hunting, weaving, building houses, riding horses, governing kingdoms,a tribe or nation, midwifery, pottery and cooking. The professor intervened and said without school there is no education and said that knowledge outside classrooms aren’t real education. Suddenly, there was a system failure and the coach stopped. The young mechanic approached the engine but the professor told him to stay away as such complicated engine requires professionally qualified engineers. The whole group was stranded by the highway. The old farmer requested the young mechanic to look into the engine. Within a few minutes, the fault was fixed and the everyone was happy to continue their journey! The professor was amazed and asked the young mechanic where did he learned to fix such complex problems. He said that he learned from his father workshop and apprenticeship and years of experience without a university degree. Finally the professor agreed what the farmer said that schooling is one way of being educated but education itself is a lifelong process of acquiring knowledge, developing skills and character and solving problems. The finished by saying “young man today you became my teacher”! What are your thoughts on the above passage?

Danger and Opportunity: Learning strategies
The Chinese character for 'crisis ' is a combination of two words: 'danger' and 'opportunity ', so while too much stress and imbalance can lead to disease, it can also be a great challenge. Mental agony in learning difficulties adding to the emotional imbalance could be dangerous to mental health for all learners with neurological issues. The strategies provided at school and colleges appeared inadequate to support those in need. Parents and care givers are struggling to cope with the situation everywhere. At the Learning Hub, we will provide appropriate support and tools for the learners to build confidence and strengthen their skills in making their learning experience worthwhile and meaningful. The leaners will be able to overcome the learning challenges with the techniques we use in our program. Let me know if you have any experience in this kind of situation as a parent, care giver or as a teacher.

@Alex Bell I hope we can collaborate a zoom session with any educators or parents in our respective communities or outside to join for a catch up on with teaching of special needs learners. Perhaps we can reach out. Just a suggestion Sir..

Exercise Your Memory
Did you know that without mental training your mind only uses 1% of its potential? There many exercise regime available at the Learning Hub here. One way to improve your memory is to start jotting down things that you think, say and do that are important. There is a correlation between the hand and brain coordination that the neurons in your brain works on. Of the things you wrote are new, and repeated, the neurons will create a neural pathway that becomes memory path. You then will remember that if repeated enough times. The act of writing reinforces your recall potential, so that you often longer need to refer to what you have written so long as you repeatedly retrieve and revisit what you have written. This is simply one of the many exercises that will be introduced and implemented at learning hub. If you know any parents whose child require specialist support with learning, improving focus, building confidence and strengthening memory power, please share the link to this community so we can reach out and help. 🔗 https://www.skool.com/high-school-maths-6926/about?
Loss of Resilience: What can Parents do?
Learners often give up after 15 minutes into the lesson and some tries to misbehave and others try to go under the radar. Educators are experienced in identifying those who couldn't keep their focus and those tapping their table. Educators sometimes struggle with the disruption from a variety of causes that might lead to a below average lesson outcome. Administrator might be critical of teachers who appear to be unable to manage such classroom and blame educators for low engagement in lessons. The irony is that the Administration is partly the cause of such a situation happening. Lack of specialist support for learners who actually require specific attention during lessons. Providing an Assistant Teacher to support learners with neurodivergent problems isnt the solution. Assistant Teacher aren't specialist. The Administration is simply applying a BandAid on a Bleeding wound! What can parents do to provide specialist support to their children who need the early intervention. Share your thoughts on this observation and if possible share to any parents who might have an interest in this matter. Summer is the best time fir parents to reconcile this matter in preparation for the new academic year.

@Alex Bell I was being kind when I said “ partly the cause” hehehe. Fantastic truth Sir.
Decoding Neurodivergent Teenagers
Parents are always on the look out for ways to help their teenagers with neurological issues to learn and become confident in solving problems generally. Piques intriguing the learning gap due to the mental health conditions of their teenagers. The cognitive processing must be adapted to suit each learner according to the particular need. General education system does not cater fully to support teenagers with neurological issues that hamper their learning until it’s too late. At the Learning Hub, teenagers will get a specifically designed learning program according to their needs to bridge the academic gap in complex subjects like Math (quantitative) and humanities (qualitative) without emotional fatigue or battles! Every member learner will have complete plan of action with a goal setting, monitored weekly! The teenagers will build their confidence in learning and will have Hope that when they return to High School in the next academic year, that teenager will be prepared and willing to learn without much emotional battles as before. This is the primary community that provide real solutions to parents and learners alike who are seeking practical breakthrough. 🔗 https://www.skool.com/high-school-maths-6926/about?

@Alex Bell You are absolutely spot on about "clueless " as we find that we need to educate the parents as well on this complex topic of learning for the special needs children.
