Hellooo lovely people! I’m Bev Jessup — creative coach, retired speech therapist, and founder of The Creative Sanctuary, where I help Christian women reconnect with peace, purpose, and (if they wish) God through creativity. After 30+ years working in speech therapy, I realised I’d spent so long helping others find their voice that I’d almost lost touch with my own. Art journaling became my way back — what started as paint and paper turned into prayer, healing, and eventually… a business I absolutely love. I launched my membership, The Creative Sanctuary, back in April with a 5-day challenge that brought in my first five members. Since then, I’ve hosted a monthly live workshop every single month — May through September — and grown to 50 members. Last week, I decided to experiment with weekly Zoom workshops to make things more personal and interactive. The conversion rate was somewhere between 30% and 40%, which completely blew me away — the only catch was that not enough people showed up live! So now I’m in that stage of figuring out how to boost attendance and scale sustainably. It’s definitely a journey — full of learning, testing, and trusting the process — but I’m genuinely excited about what’s unfolding. Would love to hear how others have navigated membership growth, attendance, and consistency — what’s worked for you? Also a bit of a tech nerd with funnels and have recently worked out leadform ads for 0.54 per lead ( FULL CONFESSION: Facebook ad platform has made me cry but I'm pleased I now have conquuered my fear over this confusing platform) P.S, Are there any people here who would like to do an art workshop for my members in exchange for pitching their own offers?
