I just finished doing the guage swatch for a top by Zanete knits. It's the Capriccio Top. I found some yarn on a recent yarn crawl that is variegated in pinks, blues, and purples along with a bit of cream here and there where the dye didn't fully penetrate the yarn. I may change my mind when after I start it. It depends on how the lace edging looks in the yarn I have right now. It might be a bit too busy for the lace. We'll see.

Heat wave hit Canada
Wow this heatwave is insane. Got to 47 Celsius with humidity yesterday and today it’s 43. How is it where everyone is?

Dang that's hot! I'm in North Carolina and our projected high today is 99F (37C). We are under an extreme heat warning right now. The Feels Like temperature is a little higher, but not that much.
