Something is shifting — and I want you to know about it first.
Over the past few weeks I've been doing some deep work on how I show up, who I serve, and how I talk about what I teach. You've probably noticed some language changes. "Buckets" is becoming "domains." "Self-care" is becoming "foundational human skill." The framework is the same — 54 skills across five areas that most people were never explicitly taught. What's changing is how I'm positioning it in the world. Here's what I want you to know: You are not being left behind. You are exactly who this work was built for. In fact — you're ahead of everyone who is just now finding this framework, because you're already inside it. What's changing is that I'm starting to bring this work into organizations, leadership teams, and corporate environments. Because the same gaps I see in individual business owners show up in teams. And nobody is addressing them at that level with a curriculum-based approach. Same work. Bigger rooms. For you — nothing changes except the language gets sharper and the tools get more precise. If anything, the organizational lens makes the framework even more powerful for your own leadership and business. I'm grateful you're here. I'm grateful you trusted this process early. And I'd love to know — which of the five domains has been most eye-opening for you so far? Drop it below. I read every single one. — Bethany

Welcome to the community. I’m really glad you’re here.
One of the biggest reasons people burn out is not because they care too little, but because they care deeply about everything and everyone else and forget to care for themselves along the way. Self care is not just spa days and time off. It’s the daily choices that keep you grounded, clear headed, and emotionally steady so you can continue showing up for the things that matter most. In my work we talk about five areas of self care: emotional, spiritual, physical, mental, and social. When one of these areas gets neglected for too long, life and leadership both start to feel heavy. So here is a simple reflection for you. What is one thing you are doing right now to take care of yourself? Maybe it is getting enough sleep, setting a boundary, taking time to think and reflect, moving your body, having a meaningful conversation with someone you trust Drop it in the comments. Your answer might inspire someone else in this community to take a step toward caring for themselves today.

Today I took time to talk with a friend for a long time on the phone. 😀

I'm sorry, Tracy. It's always hard to hear something like that from a friend. I actually have a podcast on my YouTube channel that talks just about this. You're welcome to check it out. Maybe I'll link it here, but it talks about the specific thing. Sending love.
This week seemed way too long!
Am i the only one feeling this? Who else is grateful for Friday!?

Last opportunity to join the free masterclass for April
This will be the last time and the last place that I'm going to be posting for my self-care masterclass. If you are lucky enough to be in this group and you haven't already joined, this will be your last opportunity to join for April 13th. I will put the link here and by the end of this week I am closing off the free registration. I like to keep my rooms pretty small and I'm already nearly at my comfortable capacity but because we've had so many people recently join my Thriving Leader System, I wanted to be sure that you guys each were able to get an invite. I'm excited for the new members and I'm excited to see this community grow. https://calendly.com/thrivingbynaturecoaching/the-self-care-masterclass

Why Leaders Feel Like Quitting, And What That Actually Means
If you are a business owner or leader, there will be moments when you quietly think… I do not know if I want to keep doing this. That thought does not mean you are failing. It usually means you are growing. Leadership is Developmental. It stretches your nervous systems. It stretches your identity. It stretches your capacity to hold complexity. And growth rarely feels glamorous. Sometimes it feels quiet. Sometimes it feels lonely. Sometimes it feels like you are carrying more than anyone sees. As leaders, we often believe that because we are capable, we should also be steady all the time. But even the most grounded leader has seasons of doubt. I see three patterns when leaders feel like quitting. The first is internal expansion before external evidence. You are doing the work. You are showing up. You are refining your voice. You are holding boundaries more clearly, you are thinking differently. But the business has not caught up yet. And in that space, it can feel like nothing is happening. But something is happening, you are becoming. In Montessori we prepare the environment before we expect the child to thrive. Leadership is the same. You prepare your inner environment before your outer world stabilizes. The second pattern is misalignment fatigue. When you are pulled in too many directions. When you start consuming too much outside noise. When you forget your own rhythm. Leaders do not burn out from work alone. They burn out from disconnection from themselves. The third is simple human depletion. You are responsible. You are holding space for others. Of course you get tired. Do not interpret tired as incapable, you not interpret a hard week as a failed mission. When I feel stretched in my own leadership, I come back to simplicity. I slow down. I regulate my body. I define one meaningful win for the day. I ask, what is mine to hold, and what is not? Leadership is self leadership first. Always. This is exactly why I host my free Self Care CEO Circle every Monday.
