Clue 6: First Sleeve down!
So I made the sleeves simpler minus the little sashes with the beads. I don’t need the sleeves to be crazy busy. I don’t know when I’ll finish the other sleeve as I got hit with the sicks. However, I think I finally see what that purl line does since I did not lose the plot on this one. I did a similar lace motif for the cuff as I did for the collar with the icord bind off. I’m becoming fond of this bind off. Plus, I like sitting there, in the zone, just binding off. I similarly enjoy the repetition of the Italian bind off. It’s relaxing. Second sleeve is coming! I have at least woven in all the ends! I have learned so much!

Clue 5 Collages
I'm very late with it this week, but they are still the most gorgeous collection of sweaters I've seen in this world!! You're all doing me so proud, I can't even begin to coherently convey how it feels when I look at all this beauty!! ❤️ Again, this selection is truly random but no where near a the complete set as a lot more have been shared! 🤩

Clue 5: Edge, Re-Imagined
Not a lot new since the motif was from before, however, I did figure out how I wanted the hem to be. I didn’t want to do a normal rib. I felt there was too much detail so I wanted something in the hemming. I thought beads but then I thought I wouldn’t want them on the hem. So I went with a 2x2 rib with eyelets and an I-cord bind off. @Zanete Hussain your tutorial short was awesome!! I tried to follow your connect in the round but the white yarn confused me so I kind of ended up winging it. It’s definitely not perfect. So with the hem done I wanted something similar - delicate, different, intricate. Also in theme with beading bounded by fairy bridges, I went with a lace pattern I had from another project and altered it for the neckline. It’s not perfect but it’s a first for me! I also did an i-cord bind off but in opposing hues. Oh and I totally weaved in all my ends now that I have both finishing details! It has wonderful drape! It is a bit more positive ease than I would normally go comfort so I hope the sleeves balance it. However, I have learned so much along the way!

@Zanete Hussain Thank youuuu!!! The sleeves will be simpler as I want the focus on the body and I don’t want it too busy it feels chaotic lol.
Clue 4: Lost Plot and Wild Adventures
I started Clue 4 late (busy week) and it took forever but only because I can’t NOT over complicate. I lost the plot on the side seam that was in clue 3. I had done all but the final block when I realized but oh well lol. I totally forgot that was supposed to carry over from clue 3!! Oh well, it didn’t really matter as my motifs didn’t collide. I have thoroughly enjoyed all the new skills I’ve learned! In this second row of fairy bridges over choppy waters, I decided to take inspiration from the chart but add on a pseudo fake front half cable so the richer pink stitches would come together while their light counter parts would form the frame. I’ve really enjoyed blending color by working with different yarns. I have honestly not really had the recommended colors except my two primary cA, cC. Otherwise I’ve gone into a “fill in the blanks” when it comes to color. I get really inspired by the chart, seeing colors and replications when I have a view of the base set up. I hope it’s okay wandering so far off the beaten path. @Zanete Hussain - your pattern is so wonderfully written that I immediately understand and if I don’t you have such helpful tutorials. The clarity and skill of the written pattern is testament to allowing this bby beginner take such a strong foundation and branch out to embellish. Also, the beadwork takes forever!! Especially the last two rows of fairy bridges!!

@Johanne Bjerregaard So I did a few tries after scouring the school of you tube. Some of them I used a needle threader (and broke one) because the flower beads were a wee bit too wee for the chokers I was pulling through em lol. The others, I had the bright idea of using beefier beads that I could use my micro crochet hook to tug em through. Ultimately I landed on knitting the stitch, pulling it off the needle, threading the loop (either with micro crochet hook or needle threader) and slipping the bead on. Mostly because I really wanted the bead to be centered on the stitch and pre-stranding the beads gave me a pretty look but not what I wanted. I am by no means proficient. I kind of worked off vibes and determination to figure it out lol. I might have done it all wrong!
Clue 3: Beginner’s Adventure
So first off, I haven’t done the collar yet. I will most likely do that after the body as I am undecided on what I want. The outcome is so delicate and pretty, I’m not sure if I want to try something else out other than standard ribbing. Secondly, I got crazy. Not only did I do some razzle dazzle sparkles, but I decided to learn how to knit with beads so that the center pieces would look like the swooshes are connected to little flowers. I am an adventurous beginner is how I would frame my skills. I am late to finish bc of life and how extremely long it took to get the beads on and the final razzle dazzle sparkle alternating motif. The idea is having this central band of eye catching stuff and back to the muted dichromatic of the top yoke. I don’t know if these pictures really showcase but! I’ve learned a lot!!
