I wouldn't have bought my money pit in Cle Elum, WA. It has tons of potential that maybe some day will be realized. I won't be taking on a subdivision or major boundary line adjustment again. The home was a rotten pumpkin and I knew it, but bought it anyway... I'm far from a beginner, but it was a bad move in retrospect. 5 years later, I'm finally close to completion :/ 200K+ out of pocket this year alone... :(
