What is a win from this week?
Noticing what we’re doing that is good is huge for healing because we can get so bogged down in the suffering. What is one thing that you’re proud of this week? Let’s encourage and cheer each other on!

I’ll admit, it’s hard for me to recognize the good things I’ve done because the hard stuff weighs me down but… I did some form of exercise everyday this week and it felt good!

@Amanda Mirrlees yay for you working in the garden! I’m looking forward to fresh garden veggies this summer!
Breakfast!
It’s a super important meal to get your day started- to literally break your fast. We need energy for our muscles and brains to get going. I prefer to start with protein so I had 2 eggs and 2 strawberries. What did you eat for breakfast today? Let’s share ideas!

If you’re feeling like pancakes, here is a super easy recipe (32.6g protein): 2 eggs 1/2 c. Good Culture cottage cheese 1/2 c. Bob Mills non-gmo rolled oats Optional: splash of salt and vanilla Blend and it makes 4-6 small pancakes. It cooks much quicker so flip after 15-20 seconds. I freeze what I don’t eat and then just warm them up.

Sorry… I meant these pancakes are 36.2 g of protein.
💦The importance of drinking water! 💦
Water is one of your best friends when it comes to chronic illness. It lubricates joints, supports brain function and flushes toxins. I suggest people have a goal of half their body weight in ounces of water. So if you weigh 140 pounds, then drink 70 ounces of water per day. This can be really hard for people! I like to add flavored electrolytes and just always keep water with me to sip on throughout the day. It’s better to sip than to guzzle it all at the end of the day. What do you do that helps you drink more water?

I like to add orange or lemon slices and sometimes cucumber slices. Very refreshing!
How can we pray for you today?
I want this place to be a place of encouragement and support for everyone. Feel free to leave a prayer request below and we can all pray for you!

@Coleen Huebert thank you for the reminder! Sometimes it creeps up on me and I just get overwhelmed and forget. Thank you!

@Coleen Huebert Better in a lot of ways. Still dealing with pain all over but I got back to doing some emotion work, meditation and breath work and I feel like my central nervous system has calmed and I am not in a state of overwhelm like I was. I did find out that I need a total knee replacement (boo!). Thank you for asking!
The burden of unforgiveness
This might seem like an odd post, but resentment and unforgiveness can create a sub conscience stress and heaviness. When we are healing from mold, it is good to release as much stress as possible! Spend a moment today considering if there is unforgiveness in your being. Where do you feel it? How is it binding you or weighing you down? Do you need to forgive - a landlord who wouldn’t help you - A husband who didn’t believe you - Your body for freakin’ out - God for letting this happen - Etc Picture what this unforgiveness looks like. Use your imagination! Then picture handing it to God (or the Universe or perfect love- depending on your faith). Leave your hands open for what God offers you in return. Accept it as a beautiful gift. Do this practice often!

I’ve heard you say this before but in the past I have always thought of people I need to forgive but when I read this today, it’s like I read it with a new lens and realized I live in a state of low level anger at my body for not being able to do the things I should be able to do. Ok… I need to work on this!
