14 people just submitted speeches for a competition I'm running in my humble little community. The final is next Sunday. It's my first time running a competition like this, and I want to share that I've been BLOWN AWAY by how my members have stepped up. Not everyone took the opportunity. But the ones who did showed up in ways I didn't expect. Some have barely spoken publicly before. Others have never recorded themselves before. Some feel self-conscious about their accents or language ability or the sound of their voice. But they committed and posted it publicly. That takes guts. Curious to see how the final impacts my community. It's incredible how simply 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 people a stage does something different. But the truth is - we all have a stage (Skool, social media, etc.). So why don't we always take it?
