My reason for owning Bitcoin has never depended on a particular price.
I own Bitcoin because I believe saving should actually mean saving. 💰 If I work today and choose not to consume what I earned, I should be able to preserve that value for tomorrow — without someone else having the ability to create more units of the money I saved and dilute my share. 📉 Bitcoin gives me something I can truly own. 🔑 ✅ I can hold it myself. ✅ I can take it anywhere in the world. 🌍 ✅ I can send it to anyone without needing permission. ✅ And no government, bank, company, or individual gets to decide to create another 21 million Bitcoin. But ownership is only half of it. The other half is the freedom to build. 🛠️ I can program my finances directly — with AI as my co-pilot 🤖 — and create complex financial structures without begging the banking system to allow me. No applications. No gatekeepers. No waiting for permission that may never come. If I can imagine a way to move, save, or structure my value, I can build it myself. ⚡ That matters more to me than what Bitcoin trades for next year. 📅 I also think about my family. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 I want to preserve the product of my work and pass it forward in a form that doesn't depend entirely on the promises of an institution or government staying intact for generations. So if Bitcoin's price disappointed me for the next five years, would my reason for owning it change? No. 🚫 I wouldn't enjoy watching the price go nowhere. But if Bitcoin kept producing blocks ⛏️, stayed decentralized, held its monetary rules, and let me hold, transfer, and program value without permission — then the reason I bought it would still be there. 📊 Price is what the market says Bitcoin is worth today. 🔒 The properties of Bitcoin are why I own it. Which is the reason you're one of the GOATS. I just came home after doing 14 years in Federal prison. Falsely convicted. I studied bitcoin for about 9 years during this time. I taught classes as well. I had a contraband cell phone for a 2-year stretch and I started sharing my knowledge on Facebook. I was light-years ahead of 99% of the so-called crypto experts. And people could easily tell. I started helping people navigate DeFi, in early 2020 -2021 until I lost the cellphone. I also found your YouTube channel during this time and watched you all the time. And others. But, I know who you are. I know why you do what you do. And I also know why more people aren't aware of work. I've experienced much of the same..... you don't fit the image they think is worthy to listen to. Like Andreas Antonopoulos. It's a passion you po ssess. I was interviewed multiple times on a YouTube channel, Genesis Block Education, as a cryptocurrency expert 2020-2021. Many will never know your contributions..... But I know who you are. 💪🏾💯 Salute!

This is a bitcoin community.
We don't do crypto. We do BTC. We don't trade (buy & sell) BTC. We buy and HODL. We don't try to time the market. When prices drop, we buy. When prices are at an ATH, we buy. We also don't keep our coins on exchanges. We store our BTC in cold storage.

@Logan Vikram bitcoin is the root of crypto.... it's like an original. What people have termed crypto are clones, and version of the original, and sadly most of these version don't resemble the original at all. Too many are corrupt versions, having malicious intent built into the design. Meaning, the enemies of Bitcoin must muddy the waters to mislead as many new follower as possible. Because other than that, they have no weapon against Bitcoin. Their are a few exceptions, Monero, for example. And the original idea of Ethereum. The guiding rule, does the project solve a real-world problem, that can't be better solved another way? If so, it might be a solid project that isn't a scam.
