We're getting the Online Class dialed in. Tomorrow, we be doing it slightly differently - using the Skool "call" option as opposed to the Skool "webinar." Fingers crossed that this different option makes it more organic. Also, as pretty much everyone agreed, it's important to keep your microphone muted unless you're needing to respond to a question or ask one yourself. That should minimize or eliminate any feedback issues. Beyond the Online Classes, though, what can I be doing/providing to incentivize the community members who are presently on the free Standard tier to upgrade to Premium? As you might imagine, I ask for a very simple and pragmatic reason –– If this platform can serve as a source of income for me, that incentivizes me to turn more time and attention to it. And I would not have started this community if I didn't want to do that. So, with the understanding that I do, indeed, want to bring more value and benefits to you, the community member, please let me know exactly how I might best do that. I added the option of taking private online lessons the other day and I'll teach the first on Thursday. Again, I have the school space 24/7/365 and I can have a student or two present to demonstrate with, so if you're halfway around the world from me and you want to learn, get a training partner and share the cost of doing privates with them. In thinking about it, I don't want to exclude any Premiun-Tier Member from being able to partake of my online classes simply because their respective time zone may put the live-stream in the middle of the night or right smack in the middle of their work day. So, what I'm going to do – the "adjustment" – is leave the recorded class available for access by Premium -Tier Members for 24 hours after it live-streams. After 24 hours, it will go into the library where only VIP-Tier Members will have access.

It revealed a lot of things and raised a few questions I'll be looking to get answered about the platform to make classes all the better. As I requested of everyone who joined, let me know what days and times really work best for everyone... talk to each other! I'm willing to set class times in the morning, afternoon or evening... whatever dasys and times will allow the most members to participate. So, speak up!

... by the response to my Call to Action. Upgrades are trickling in slowly but they are coming. So, here's what I'm thinking: One of my students was a programmer who retired from Google a few years ago. He's forgotten more about computers and computer-related endeavors than I'm ever going to know. He's coming by this evening. before class, to help me get things set up to begin teaching online classes... We have to make sure the large flatscreen I'll be using is completely ready to go, the native live-steaming on Skool is working and the webcam is functioning. I also ordered a wireless headset mic which is supposed to be delivered by tomorrow (uh-huh). If all goes well (fingers crossed), I'll power things up tomorrow evening and invite all of you who upgraded to Premium to join me. Murphy will undoubtedly make his presence known, so I won't be surprised if no one can hear me, the focus is off or whatever else can go wrong will absolutely go wrong. Bu, rather than waiting until everything is perfect, I figure it will be fun to get together in this way, perhaps have a conversation and put our heads together to make this new-fangled thing as good as it can possibly be. So... tomorrow afternoon, I should have a pretty good idea if we can just get to it later in the evening – I will jump on here and give you all a sitrep (situation report) by 3:00 PST.
