My first coaching call 🙌
Thank you @Mario Lanzarotti for hosting this call and everyone who attended it, I was genuinely surprised by how good it was, I've probably never been to like a real coaching call and Im blown away, sometimes it's super helpful to just ask a question and get a direct feedback and answer to it, courses cant provide this. I was pretty lost getting on the call trying to figure out what direction should I go, I just left a business I was building in the last 8 months and invested a lot of money in. And now I was here trying to make a decision, should I sharpen my axe or use my axe and get into the arena? I told my story to Mario and he explained me a lot of interesting concepts one was this quote from the book Alchemist: "When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it" and the opposite is also true "When you don't want something, all the universe conspires in sabotaging you to achieve it" I tried out countless businesses in the last couple of years and there is one I keep coming back to which is youtube and building a personal brand, I go out build a lead gen agency for 8 months get slapped in the face and now Im back in building my youtube channel, somehow I always get back to it. Probably the only thing that was stopping me from going all in was fear of failure, I think when we are not that interested in something we are much more okay to fail, however when the stakes are high and the stuff actually matters we want to avoid to do the thing. Its a really interesting thing, wanting something so bad you actually don't do it. But I guess the first lesson is just realising that the fear of failure is there and taking action anyway also a homework I got from the call is to look at other life areas where I could also lie to myself about what I actually want, this will be something I will be exploring in the next few days and also probably I will read the book Alchemist Ty for the call

The great online game
Caught up with @Benedek Santa and @Sathya S today. Forgot to take the picture with Sathya cause of the immediate rush... Anyway I love that we have a decade long age gap from each other. Yet, we are all playing the great online game we keep each other accountable, AND we help each others' businesses. Benedek helped me get over my YouTube fear AND get my first 6 videos out with over 5K views. Sathya helped me get over my LinkedIn fear AND get my first 100,000 views on LinkedIn. Thanks guys. Y'all helped me get started with the great online game. For that, I'm grateful.

30-Day Cold Outreach Challenge
Hey friends! Recently I asked some of you what 30-day challenge might your creator side really benefit from. Many of you want some form of engagement challenge where you would do a cold outreach to people (potential clients, valuable connections, or the like) to take your game to the next level. 💪 So, I want to open up a 30-day cold outreach challenge starting October 16. You select the number. (Any number above 5 is recommended.) Then every week you hit that many people up on DM or email or whatever you prefer as a mode of communication. Tracking is important. This will help for engagement in the challenge + accountability as well as show you how much progress you made. Just so we get an account of all of you, if this sounds like your cup of [preferred drink] comment “I’m in!” on this post. Excited to get this challenge going and I look forward to hearing your wins 🙌

guys I think we should have a groupchat to keep each other accountable
Group idea
I have to be honest, I stopped doing the outreach, and got into a rut, I think it would be helpful if we had a group chat either on WhatsApp or Telegram, so we can keep each other accountable @Arjun Khemani @Shivam Jha

They say never meet your heroes
I got added to a group chat with mine. (screenshot 1) __ Socials Digital Writing trailblazer https://twitter.com/dickiebush Automation king https://twitter.com/dbustac __ I know for a fact that Dickie shares 80% of his knowledge freely in twitter threads and linkedin posts. Found this out in an unlisted video. (screenshot 2) This makes sense. Because anyone can learn anything online for free today. You don't have to sign up for the $750 ship30 course. But if you find yourselves wanting to save time. Because time is money. Then enrol in one of the ship30 cohorts to build a writing habit. Heck, I even asked Daniel to create a $1,000 course. I'd pay for it. He is the mastermind behind Ship 30 who seamlessly runs cohorts of 500+ people at a time. __ Knowledge is readily available for free on the internet. I pay for structure. To save time. Now I can learn for free. Or I can pay to learn. Learn for free: • Find people in my industry who've been there, done that, doing that. • Consume their content with purpose. • Take action. Pay to learn: • Join masterminds and cohort based programs. • Build my network. • Stack skills by hiring people who can teach me how to execute the essentials. • Take action Whether I learn for free or pay to learn, I can not avoid taking action.
