OpenVids · 15 Oct 2026
okay so most AI video tools make you a brand-new clip. OpenVids is different: the agents edit your own footage on a real timeline, and you can review or undo every change. It's free and open source, runs on Mac (Apple Silicon) and Windows, and you plug in your own AI key. It's very new, so treat it as a rough-cut, narration and titles assistant. The guide: install it (and the two security warnings you'll hit), connect a model, then three paste-ready prompts: a rough cut from a long recording, a narration with the music ducked under it, and a motion title checked by render QA. 20 pages, PDF attached. Claude for Google Workspace · 15 Oct 2026
okay so if you live in Google Sheets, this one's worth installing. Claude now sits in a sidebar inside Docs, Sheets and Slides, and it edits your actual file: ask for a report and it writes the formulas, the pivot table and the chart in your sheet. Every paid Claude plan includes it (Pro is $17/mo billed annually, $20 monthly). The guide: the install, the one setting to leave on (Ask before edits), and 3 copy-paste workflows: a report tab you can trace to the raw rows, a long doc cut down, and notes turned into a deck in your own theme. Plus the beta limits. 24 pages, PDF attached. Stuck on a step? Drop your setup in the comments.

Vercel · 15 Oct 2026
okay so Mr. Chud, WhatsGen, The Talking Game and yapstudios.ai all deploy on Vercel, and two things bit me. A git push on Mr. Chud's site shipped nothing, because that project had no git connection at all. And www.whatsgen.app showed "Your connection is not private" because I'd never added www to the project. So here's the guide I wish I had: three ways to ship (Drop, git, CLI), a domain where both names get a certificate, env vars that actually reach the build, and the one-command undo. Plus a prompt that makes your coding agent check before it deploys. 36 pages, PDF attached. Stuck on a step? Drop your setup in the comments.

PostHog · 15 Oct 2026
okay so PostHog is the analytics tool I run across all my apps, and two of its defaults burned me. In Mr. Chud, 59.6% of production events came from 5 emulators. Not users. Emulators. And replay I thought was gated behind a flag was recording real people, because the flag was never linked. So I wrote down the fix: install it and cap the bill, filter out your own traffic, gate replay properly, and ask PostHog from Claude Code with a prompt that makes it show its receipts. 21 pages, PDF attached. Claude Code · 15 Oct 2026
okay so Claude Code is what I build with. My apps and the console I run my content from both run on it. This is the setup I'd hand a friend on day one: install it, give it a CLAUDE.md that actually gets followed, and pick the right permission mode. Then three workflows: plan before it codes, turn a repeat job into a skill, and make the rules that matter a hook so Claude can't skip them. Every step has copy-paste code and a test, so you know it worked. 26 pages, PDF attached. Stuck on a step? Drop it in the comments.
