💡 Step 0: Declare Your Idea (Do This First)
Before you watch anything in the classroom, do this first. Most people who join this community have the same problem: Too many ideas. I know because I started 26 side hustles in 14 years before I finally figured out what works. The goal here is simple: Stop spinning. Pick one direction. Test it for 30 days. Not forever. Just one idea to test next. Your Step 0 Action Comment below with this: I want to help [who] solve [problem]. Examples: • I want to help remote workers fix neck pain • I want to help busy parents plan healthy meals • I want to help real estate agents generate more leads It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just needs to be something you're considering building. When you say something out loud, you force a decision. And decisions create momentum. Most people stay stuck because they keep researching instead of choosing. After you comment 👇 Go to the Classroom → Start Here and continue with: Step 1 🧭 Pick Your Direction That’s where we’ll narrow this down and turn it into something real. Drop your idea below 👇 Let's see what you're thinking. - Brian 🔥

Or can it be longer? I'm trying to keep it as short as possible.
“Not an Expert” Syndrome
👉 Watch the lesson. Action Steps: ✅ List 3 things you’ve taught someone without charging them. ✅ Write this line: “I help [type of person] with [specific thing] that I’ve done myself.” Practice saying it. 📢 Share your one-liner in the comments. Let the group know what you’re great at.

I help students with acting that I've done myself. I help students with staging and directing that I've done myself. I help blind people with affordable audio books that I've done myself.

@Brian O'Neill Thank you!
Where are my Claude users?
Are you using Claude? And how do you use Claude? Do you work with Claude code in the terminal? Are you using Claude.ai which is the browser version? Are you using the Claude app?

I once tried Claude and stopped again cause it's greedy. Now that I'm looking for a foolproof way to edit videos with AI, Opus was recommendet to me, which belongs to Claude. So here goes a second chance ...

@Brian O'Neill Yes and they make a ton of promises in between chargings. On top of generel ones like being able to work with German. Cause oh boy, is there still way to go. Days ago I tried to test Opus (and Descript, and Veed.io) and they don't give you enough credits to do one proper test, like fully editing 1 video. As soon as you try two or three things you're supposed to pay up. And I'm like Dude let me at least do one/1 test! That's why I'm with Youcut now. Basic, you work yourself, but it works, effects are immediate the result is yours. I'll give Opus another chance when I have more "common" things to edit, like insta teaser clips in English I want a ton of effects for.
Getting swamped with 'to dos'
I've been getting completely swamped with to-dos. Every time I learn something new about building my YouTube-to-Skool business, it seems to generate an avalanche of new tasks. After a while, it started feeling pretty overwhelming. In the past, I've used project management software, and the one I liked best was Asana.com I'm in the process of setting it up again. The free version does quite a bit, although I may eventually need to upgrade if I start collaborating with other people. Just capturing all the items seems to take down my stress levels. Question: Do you use project management software? If so, what do you use, and what do you like (or dislike) about it?

I'm the oldfashioned guy with post-its on the wall and I block time. ToDos (I hate that Hydra!) are 10-12am. The important stuff goes 2x90mins with a 20min break. That's the goal that I reach more and more often now, it does take some strength in the beginning to push this through.

Oh and I deleted a phone game I love and I only check my messages once in the morning and once in the evening. Ppl know they can call me anytime. But messages get only to 15min-blocks/day.
