Hey everyone 😁 I’m Rose. I’m a writer and the creator of Symbolic Literacy, a framework centered around observation, reflection, discernment, and embodiment. I’m currently finishing the first volume of my book, Nigredo Manifesto, and I joined because I’m at the point where I want to strengthen the storytelling and publishing side of the work without losing its voice. Looking forward to getting to know everyone here. 📖🪟⚜️
A Writer Asked Me This Today…
A writer asked me something recently that really stayed with me. "What if I spend years writing this book and no one reads it?" It's a vulnerable question. ❓ But I don't think that's the first question we should ask. The first question is, "What happens if you never write it at all?" Because before your book can change someone else's life, it has to change yours. And I believe every writer deserves the chance to discover who they become by finishing the book, by allowing it to get published. Have you ever had a fear that almost stopped you from writing? ✍️ I know that I have. Let's work on the struggles together in this supportive community.

@Dani Rosenblad James This is interesting. I’m only about five months into writing my manuscript, so I’m still very much in the stage where the process itself feels necessary and alive for me. I actually look forward to my weekly book day because it gives memories somewhere to go and helps me organize what I’ve lived. I do wonder whether that relationship changes once the writing is finished and it becomes mostly editing. At what point did you realize you were no longer refining the book and had started using editing to delay releasing it? 🪟📚
