#sotd... Aventus Colonge by Creed... I haven't reached for this in over two years. So, why not rock it for the day. I actually prefer Aventus Colonge over Aventus. This is a more citrus foward fragrance offering a lighter and brighter version of Aventus. Removing the smokey pineapple and adding Mandarin Orange and Ginger helps make this a great daytime wear. Both my bottles I have are from early 2021 batches which I get decent overall performance from them. Not something you get from the more recent versions. I got about 7 hours from it. Such an easy wear with a great scent. I give this an 9 out of 10.

#sotd... Lava by Maison Alhambra... To me, this name is very misleading. When I think of Lava, I think of something that is going to be heavy, dense, maybe even a little spiciness to it. Totally 100% opposite. Lava is a very fresh, out of the shower, laundry type of fragrance. Don't get me wrong, I like this. Just not what I was expecting just judging by the name and bottle. I got moderate performance from it. After about 2 or 3 hours of okay projection, it just kind of fell off for me. I refreshed at the 5 hour mark. I will revisit this again in a few months to see if it changes any. But for now, I give this a 7.5 out of 10. Nothing special to me....

#sotd... Naxos by Xerjoff... Naxos is a sweet honey tobacco fragrance with very good overall performance. I went 9 hours before refreshing. This opens with a fresh and clean aromatic scent before moving into a sweet honey mid. The dry down goes into a smooth and rich tobacco and Vanilla scent. Naxos is balanced enough to be worn year round if maintained in controlled temperatures. I give this a 10 out of 10. Very well done fragrance from a luxury powerhouse...

#sotd... Posh by Fragrance Story... This is a Aromatic Fougère fragrance. Opens with a zesty burst of citrus and herbs. Has a refreshing clean scent to it. Shortly after the opening hits, Posh transitions into a very familiar scent profile to me that is luxuriously expensive. Offering the same DNA as Creed Millésime Impérial. As this fragrance transitions from the mid to the dry down, I was able to catch a whiff of the Iris very briefly before ending the fragrance faded into a skin scent. Excellent overall performance. Not a super heavy projection from it but great longevity. I did not have to refresh today. Easily went 10 hours with it. I give this a 9.5 out of 10.

#sotd... Khamrah Waha by Lattafa... Waha opens fresh with a effervescent, citrus heavy scent. Very pleasant if you ask me! But, do not get too comfortable with it, as it fades rather quickly. I would say the opening only last maybe an hour to an hour & half before it starts to move into a less sweeter original Khamrah. Not sure why this is being classified as a summer freshie. Yes it opens fresh, but quickly fades into a more dense fragrance. Projection is good and longevity is moderate. Doesn't last as long as OG Khamrah. I refreshed at the 7 hour mark. Personally, I was a little let down by this one. I had higher hopes for it. Was expecting it to be a fresh fragrance from start to finish. Don't get me wrong, I do like it and it is a great scent. Just was expecting more freshness. Pretty much Lattafa took Khamrah and replaced the opening with some freshness. I give this a 8.5 out of 10. Its good, but not great.... I think it would be perfect for spring or fall. I will revisit it in a few months from now to see if it changes in any type of way.
