Hey everyone, I wanted to take a moment to share my two month journey as an affiliate marketer. It all began somewhat accidentally while I was managing my dad's cleaning business Facebook page. I stumbled upon a software company and decided to give their affiliate marketing program a shot even though I had a vague idea of what it entailed and mistakenly believed I'd need a massive following to see any success. I couldn't have been more wrong. I've made couple of grand so far. Although my first month felt like I was making no progress at all, till i told my dad about my progress, he encouraged me to reach out to other business owners in his network who might benefit from the software I was promoting. That's when things really took off. Now, I connect with business owners primarily through LinkedIn and Facebook groups and get them to book a demo call with one of the sales reps. For every sale the rep closes, I earn 30% of the deal. My biggest win so far was a client who not only bought the software but also purchased a high-ticket website package earning me a decent commission, for a high school student who does this after school this was huge! Sharing this experience isn't just about celebrating my success, it's about letting you know that this is possible for anyone.
