Day 5: The Gift of Your Sovereign Self
Hi Everyone 👋 We have journeyed through the fire, released the ancient vows, walked through the triggers, and forgiven the unforgivable. Now, my dear friends, we arrive at the destination that was always the starting point... the full, unapologetic embodiment of who you truly are. Over these past days, we have done the heavy lifting. We have sat with discomfort, faced our shadows, and made peace with the past. But now I want to speak to you about something that is rarely discussed in spiritual circles, and yet it is the very thing that transforms a seeker into a master.... The radical act of claiming your sovereign self. There is a subtle but deadly trap that awaits us on the spiritual path. It is the trap of spiritual bypassing—the tendency to use spiritual practices to avoid our humanity, to float above our pain, to pretend we are above the messy, visceral realities of being human. I have seen it countless times. Someone will say "I am at peace" while their body is screaming with tension. They will say "I am enlightened" while their relationships are in ruins. This is not awakening; this is dissociation dressed in spiritual clothing. The sovereign self is not the self that has transcended the world; it is the self that has fully arrived in the world. It is the self that can hold its own suffering with one hand and the suffering of others with the other. It is the self that can be deeply triggered and still choose love. It is the self that can weep at the beauty of a sunset and rage at the injustice of the world, all without losing its centre. In Buddhism, we speak of Bodhicitta—the awakened heart-mind. It is the state of being where compassion and wisdom are inseparable. It is the understanding that your liberation and the liberation of all beings are one and the same. You cannot truly heal yourself without healing your relationship to the world, and you cannot truly heal the world without healing yourself. In Daoism, we speak of Ziran—naturalness, spontaneity, the uncarved block. It is the state of being so fully yourself that you no longer need to perform, to prove, or to pretend. You simply are. And in that being, you become a force of nature. You become the river that flows effortlessly around obstacles, the tree that bends without breaking, the mountain that stands unshaken through every storm.

Love the metaphor and presence of one foot in front of the other slowly and feeling the earth support us and hold us. ♥️
When the Silence Speaks
Hi Everyone 👋 Over the past five days, we have walked through the fire together. We have sat with our pain, released the ancient vows that bound us, learned to navigate the triggers of the world, forgiven the unforgivable, and stepped into the sovereignty of our true selves. I have poured my heart into these words. I have drawn from decades of practice, from thousands of hours sitting with tired, hurting souls, from the wisdom of the Buddha, the flow of the Dao, and the boundless compassion of the loving heart. And I will be honest with you... the silence that has met these posts has been... confronting. Not because I need applause. Not because I need validation. But because I know—I know—that what I am offering here is not shallow content designed to distract you for three minutes. It is the real work. The work that changes lives. The work that I have seen transform people who were once paralysed by their pain into people who walk through the world with peace in their bones. And I know that if you are still here, still reading, still showing up day after day, then something in you knows it too. So I want to ask you something, and I want you to really sit with it...... What is holding you back from going deeper? Is it fear? Is it shame? Is it the belief that you don't deserve to be seen, to be heard, to be supported? Is it the story that says you must do this alone? Because here is the truth I have learned from working with thousands of souls.... the ones who transform are the ones who reach out. Not because they are weak. Because they are courageous. It takes far more courage to say "I need help" than to pretend you have it all figured out. It takes far more strength to reach out than to hide in the silence. It takes far more wisdom to accept support than to insist on suffering alone. And now, I want to tell you something about myself. This work— this writing, this teaching, this holding of space—is not just something I do for fun. It is my life's calling.

THE THINGS YOU WILL NEVER REGRET DOING
Hi everyone 👋 1. Being kind when you had nothing to gain Kindness creates a positive impact that can remain long after the moment is gone. 2. Spending time with the people you love Time with loved ones becomes more precious because we can never get those moments back. 3. Saying "I love you" while you still can Some words become more meaningful when they are spoken before it is too late. 4. Forgiving someone Forgiveness can release the heart from carrying anger and resentment. 5. Helping someone who needed you A small act of help can mean more to another person than you may ever realize. 6. Choosing honesty Even when honesty is difficult, living without the burden of deception brings peace. 7. Learning something new Growth does not have an age limit. Every new skill or lesson expands the way we experience life. 8. Taking care of your health Your body carries you through every experience, so caring for it is an investment in your future. 9. Spending time in nature Sometimes stepping away from noise and simply observing the natural world reminds us how beautiful simplicity can be. 10. Saying no when something goes against your values Protecting your principles is more valuable than constantly trying to please everyone. 11. Giving without expecting something in return Generosity teaches us that happiness can come from what we give, not only from what we receive. 12. Making time for your dreams Life becomes richer when we allow ourselves to pursue something meaningful instead of endlessly postponing it. 13. Apologizing when you were wrong A sincere apology can heal relationships and strengthen character. 14. Living in the present moment The past cannot be changed and the future is uncertain. The present is the only moment we can truly experience. The Buddha taught that life is impermanent, which means our time with people, opportunities, and experiences is limited. Understanding impermanence can teach us to appreciate what we have now instead of waiting until it is gone. A meaningful life is built through the choices we make while we still have the opportunity to make them.

These are really beautiful values and principles to live by. If I could go back I may well of travelled, be a freer spirit, live by the sea, in nature, in harmony with the land, no hiding and be unapologetically authentically who I am. Create lots! Considered my health and what I can do to positively improve and benefit more from a younger age. More than 1 things...but I think it would look something like this 💎
