Big welcome to Misty Pastilock joining us inside Skool Geeks ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Misty is building LUXX Creator Academy helping creators who are stuck under $3K a month sort out their pricing, add new income streams, and build something that actually pays. And letโ€™s be honestโ€ฆ that is a big problem for a lot of people right now. Plenty of creators are posting, showing up, doing all the thingsโ€ฆ but the money still is not matching the effort. So Misty, you are very welcome here. Great to have you with us, and I know a lot of people in this community will connect with what youโ€™re building. Geeks go give Misty a warm welcome below ๐Ÿ‘‡

What MISTAKES are you Making as a COMMUNITY OWNER?
Many community owners create offers that are too generic, unclear, or packed with too many outcomes. This makes it difficult for visitors to quickly understand what theyโ€™ll actually gain from joining. People join communities for specific results, not broad topics or vague promises. โŒ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—น๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ง๐—ผ๐—ผ ๐—˜๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—น๐˜† (๐—ก๐—ผ ๐—ฉ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜‚๐—ฒ ๐—™๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐˜) Some community owners launch their community and immediately start pushing paid courses without first providing value. This often leads to low conversions because trust hasnโ€™t been built yet. Selling early usually only works for creators who already have strong trust with the audience they're bringing in. Build engagement -> Deliver wins -> Then monetize = โœ… โŒ๐—ก๐—ผ ๐—–๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ "๐—™๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—”๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป" ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ก๐—ฒ๐˜„ ๐— ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€ Many community owners skip creating a welcome or roadmap post, which can leave new members feeling lost and unvalued. Without clear guidance, members donโ€™t know what to do next after joining. A simple welcome or roadmap post helps members get started quickly and feel more confident engaging. Active leader 2. Quick replies 3. Regular posts Even 15 minutes daily makes a big difference. โŒ๐—ช๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ธ ๐—ข๐—ป๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด Many community owners forget onboarding, leaving new members confused about what to do after joining. Without guidance, members often lose interest quickly and stop engaging with the community. โŒ๐—ข๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—น๐—ผ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ ๐—–๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ Many community owners overload their communities with too much content, which can overwhelm members and reduce engagement. When thereโ€™s too much to consume, people often feel bored or unsure where to start. Less, but more focused and valuable content almost always performs better.
