I'm grateful for friends who are family.

It's the end of the weekend. I'm home from a beautiful Full Moon ritual with a friend. Chilling with a coffee and peanut butter toast. I love comfort things that take you back to a slower, more simpler time. Fresh baked bread. The smell of cookies or pie in the oven. The air right before it rains. Watching my grandkids do anything and everything. Simple toast and peanut butter. These things seem to have a magical ability to slow us down and bring us fully to the moment. They remind us that we're still batting 100% at this crazy thing called LIFE. Sometimes thriving, sometimes surviving. Either way, still here. 100% Perfect track record. Do you have a comfort thing that just automatically reminds you to breathe? Automatically returns you to center? When life is crazy, Grab that comfort thing. Come and join me. I'll be in my blanket fort. Me and my peanut butter toast. We'll save a pillow, just for you.
