More on the Reta issue...
(Article by T Labs) “RETA's days are numbered.” “Here we go again.” “FDA just did WHAT?” “Another processor is gone.” “Don't panic... but PAY ATTENTION.” Every time I think we've reached peak insanity, this industry somehow finds another gear. 💳 Then THIS happened this week ... I'm not going to name names, but one of the largest, and arguably the most recognizable, peptide brands in this industry lost access to one of its credit-card processors. And no... They're not even one of the companies named in the Lilly lawsuits. These guys are MASSIVE. Not some website that appeared six months ago. Not some guy selling peptides on Facebook out of the trunk of the family SUV. 😂 We're talking about a major, established name that practically everybody who's been around this industry knows. If it can happen to them basically overnight, everybody in this industry should be paying attention. NOW IT'S REALLY STARTING TO HIT HOME. 🔥 And then Lilly drops THIS. Lilly filed six new federal lawsuits involving reta, including against Research Use Only peptide sellers. But believe it or not, the six lawsuits aren't even what concerns me most. ➡ Lilly says it has now: Referred 200+ individuals and companies to regulators and law enforcement Reported 14,000+ websites, advertisements, social posts and product listings Called on credit-card companies and payment processors to take action Called on shipping and logistics companies to take action Called on e-commerce platforms to take action Called on social-media companies to take action 🚨 THIS IS THE PART EVERYBODY NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND. ➡ The six lawsuits are the part everybody sees. But they're only the visible tip of something much bigger. ➡ Lilly says it has reported 14,000+ websites, advertisements, social-media posts and product listings involving reta across more than 100 countries. ➡ At the same time, Lilly says it has referred 200+ individuals and entities to the FDA, Department of Justice, state attorneys general, law enforcement and professional licensing boards.

🚨 Fentanyl in peptides!!! Don't panic here's what REALLY happened
A Fentanyl Finding in a Research Peptide: What's Actually Known! This narrative has been all over social media, and some companies immediately jumped on it to do Fentanyl testing (and raise their prices!) I mean, fear mongering is good for business. If you have been in the peptide research community you know extra testing is not always better. 📣 Stuff is coming from China y'all!!! *Last updated: July 28, 2026* ## The report In late July 2026, a post appeared on the MESO-Rx forum (a long-running anabolic steroid and peptide community) claiming that a vial of 5-Amino-1MQ — a compound sold in the unregulated "research peptide" market — had tested positive for fentanyl when submitted to Janoshik Analytical, the Czech lab that dominates third-party testing in this space. The poster linked a Janoshik verification page for the sample (report ID 206333) as evidence the test was real and not fabricated. The circumstances, as they've emerged in the thread, are thin: - The vial reportedly came from a small individual reseller ("Beebo"), not a large manufacturer. One commenter said the reseller compounds the product herself from raw materials rather than reselling pre-made vials, and ships domestically from Tennessee. - Janoshik's own response, according to a follow-up post from the original poster, was to send the sample to a "national lab" for confirmation — implying Janoshik did not consider its own result definitive enough to publish without independent verification. As of this writing, no confirmed follow-up result has been posted. - A separate user tested a sample from the same reported batch with an over-the-counter fentanyl test strip and also got a positive reaction, though another commenter in the thread noted, correctly, that these immunoassay strips are prone to false positives and cross-reactivity with unrelated compounds. - Another commenter who claimed to know a long-term user of the same batch said that person had been using it for months with no apparent harm — weak evidence either way, but worth noting.

Kidney stones!!! (Not peptide related but OMG so important)
Well there isn't much to say about kidney stones other than F kidney stones!!! Had a not so fun visit to the ER and then a kidney infection and I cannot tell you which was worse, they both hurt like hell. I had kidney surgery in the past as well but OMG, hated this experience! The good news is that my pep routine got me back on track pretty quickly. ❇️ What are they??? Kidney stones are hard deposits made of minerals and salts that form inside the kidneys. They're common — roughly 1 in 10 people will experience one in their lifetime — and while small stones may pass unnoticed, larger ones can cause severe pain and require medical treatment. ❇️ What Causes Them Stones form when urine becomes concentrated, allowing minerals to crystallize and stick together. The most common type is calcium oxalate, followed by uric acid, struvite, and cystine stones. Risk factors include dehydration, diets high in sodium or animal protein, obesity, family history (that's me!), and certain digestive or metabolic conditions (also me!) ⚠️ Symptoms Small stones often pass without notice. Larger ones can cause: - Sharp pain in the back, side, or lower abdomen that comes in waves - Blood in the urine - Nausea or vomiting - Frequent or painful urination - Fever and chills (a sign of possible infection, requiring urgent care) 👉🏼 It's almost like childbirth but I had three kids and that hurt more! 🧬 Treatment Options Treatment depends on stone size and composition: **Small stones** (under 4mm) often pass on their own with increased water intake and pain management. Doctors may prescribe alpha-blockers to relax the ureter and ease passage. **Larger or stuck stones** may require: - **Shock wave lithotripsy (SWL)** — sound waves break the stone into smaller pieces - **Ureteroscopy** — a scope removes or breaks up the stone - **Percutaneous nephrolithotomy** — surgical removal for very large stones ✅ Prevention The single most effective step is drinking enough water — aim for enough to produce light-colored urine throughout the day, generally 2-3 liters daily.
