Question about reviews from Book Launchers May 12, 2026 video
@Julie Broad – Hi Julie, Can you please clarify something in this recent video you posted? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HNpJExCw_g At 3:55 you said the following… “now more than ever you should prioritize verified reviews.” Then at 4:21 you said to “really avoid outside copies or PDFs as much as possible with your reviewer pushes.” So, in light of this, what about the standard practice of ARC copies that readers receive via Booksprout, Book Funnel, or PDF? This has been my main way of getting initial reviews for my new books. How would I change this to receive verified reviews from ARCs?
Re: BOOK COVER DESIGN & UNIQUENESS - QUESTION
I know that Amazon’s rules state that our book cover can’t be similar to another book cover, so how do we check if our book cover is truly unique? I know that Amazon can be pretty strict about this. 1 - I usually just scroll through as many books in my niche as I can, but is that enough? 2 - Is there a tool that we can use to make sure that there isn’t a cover out there somewhere on Amazon that looks like mine? 3 - Curious to know what others do to make sure their cover is truly unique?

Thank you all for your help. I posted this question because I ran across a video on youtube the other day, just in passing, about someone who had their account terminated because her cover was too similar to someone elses cover. I'm also part of a Skool publishing group where someone there also had their account terminated for having a cover that was too similar to another cover. I know that there are many covers on Amazon that look alike so it surprises me when I hear of people having their accounts terminated due to their covers looking too much like another cover. It's confusing and concerning. That's why I wanted to reach out for some help in how to think about this.
Need help finding someone to format my ebooks & paperbacks
Can anyone recommend someone who is great and experienced at formatting non-fiction books - ebook and paperback - on Fiverr or Upwork? Also honest and reasonably priced. - Thanks

2 questions.... 1 - When you're uploading an ebook, on the "Kindle ebook Content" page under "Manuscript" it asks if you want to enable Digital Rights Management (see screenshot). I should select YES, correct? I asked KDP and they said that saying yes means that you are protecting your book from being downloaded illegally. 2 - It gives you two options: yes or no. Saying yes seems to make the most sense. It makes me wonder why anyone would choose "no." Is there a reason why someone would choose "no?" Just curious.

Question about account termination
@Julie Broad Just wanted to clarify something. I've been wondering about this for a while so wanted to ask. Julie - in another one of your videos that I was just watching about account termination resolution for authors https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjodUibUmjs ...at 3:35 you said "If your account is terminated you cannot open a second account with the same information. That information is your name, email address, address, and banking information" If someones account was ever terminated....is it possible for them to open another account if they use a different name, email address, address and banking information? I'm not asking this question to be sneaky in any way if anything ever happened to my account, it's just to give me an option if I felt that it was unfairly terminated. Is this an option for authors? It just seems sad to think that if an unfair termination ever happened to an author that all the years they spent learning how to publish and market their book via Amazon and using that as a platform to publicize their book would be completely gone forever - like that they could never ever have an Amazon account ever again.

@Yna Davis Okay. Thank you. But the part that confuses me is that a while back I actually requested to speak to a manager (or someone higher than the phone reps) at KDP support to ask them if it's okay that someone have a personal account and a completely separate LLC at the same time. The higher KDP support rep confirmed that each business in that case is a separate entity, so that is okay. I also know someone who had 4 (KDP) LLC's (each a separate entity) at once and she kept each for years with no problems and eventually sold each of them. So, it just seems that if one entity was unfairly terminated that another entity could be created. Cuz when they say in their TOS "you," aren't they just referring to that entity? Even Julie in her video said "If your account is terminated you cannot open a second account with the same information. That information is your name, email address, address, and banking information." It's vague....is she saying then that you can open another account with different information (LLC - different name, email address, address, and banking info)? - a different entity? Anyway, the termination thing stresses me because I never totally know if I'm doing things correctly. I know I'm trying my very best to do them correctly, but I never know if their bots are going to misinterpret something.
