Feels like a good place to start here. What stands out when you think back? A funny moment? A stressful one? Who was easier to drive with — and why? Was it smooth… or a bit chaotic? No judgement. Just real stories.
I still remember my first time driving. My mom was always too anxious to take me, so I’d ask my dad instead. We’d practice in the empty school parking lot, where he patiently taught me how to park and reminded me to take my time. One time, I was waiting to make a left turn when a car behind me suddenly sped around and overtook me. It made me so nervous, but my dad stayed calm and told me it was okay to wait until I felt safe. He helped me study for my G1, supported me through my G2 lessons, and practiced highway driving with me for my full G test. Learning to drive wasn’t just about passing, it was about having my dad beside me every step of the way… and once I got my full license then I slowly became everyone’s chauffeur haha 😅
