Thrive is going BIGGER, bolder, and maybe a little Crazy??
It's always been a passion of mine to connect people for mutual THRIVING. It's been fun doing that in the realm of health and wellness, in this community. I'm leaning into connections more as I rebrand this community and create a bigger platform for all the amazing health and wellness professionals who have gravitated towards this space. There will still be posts about fasting and stress eating, and weekly support groups to navigate all of it, and I'm absolutely available for one-on-one coaching for anyone needing support in those areas. That's my jam, and none of that is going away! If you need support with any of that, direct message me today, I'm here for you :) My hope is that this transition creates more VALUE for all of us... Those of us seeking support with health and wellness, we get to learn more about the resources and opportunities available here. Those of us working in health and wellness, we get more of a platform to share knowledge/expertise and support others. It's a bit of an experiment...we will do it for 1-3 months and see how it goes. In that spirit, this is actually going to be the last Move and Market Monday. You're of course welcome to post something today if you'd like! After today, this category morphs into Value Posts. From now on, you will actually be able to post your offerings or your community DAILY in THRIVE, as many times as you'd like. There are a few guidelines... 1.) Anytime you share your biz, you can create a Value Post with the Value Post tab. You can share your biz when posting in other categories/tabs too, but it's important that you're adding value to the group with any post that you share, not just dropping a link. Your post can be a question, conversation starter, or tip/trick/experience to help people up level their health and wellness. As part of the post, you can link to your community or other offerings. I suggest changing it up, so you're not always including a link with every single post. For example, the following would NOT be a value post...posts like this would get deleted.

@Vasi Smith thanks!
I completed my Nutrition Certification from Food Matters!
Some of my biggest takeawaysโ€ฆ -Adding resistant starches to our diets can lower blood sugar and increase insulin sensitivity without any other changes to diet. Resistant starches include green bananas, cassava, cannellini beans. -the herb Withania is really good for supporting thyroid issues, and good sleep, along with a bunch of other benefits. Withania is also called Ashwagandha. - if someone is struggling with anxiety, a good first step would be to add Omega 3 fatty acids and magnesium. Sometimes those things alone can improve the situation dramatically. Omega 3 is in things like flax seeds, walnuts, wild fish I learned sooo much more, but these are some of my biggest takeaways. Excited to be a certified Nutrition Coach, rather than a certified Nutrition Nerd, which Iโ€™ve been for decades! Iโ€™m currently listening to the Nutrition Coaching module, which goes deeper into building a business centered around nutrition. Thank you @Laurentine Tenbosch for creating such an amazing program!! If youโ€™re reading this, I encourage you to create your own Wins! post, about something youโ€™re proud of, so we can all celebrate you!

Congratulations @Vasi Smith. Looking further to see how to use green bananas in creative ways....
Probiotics at every meal
That's the wellness hack I'm sharing this week. Not pills necessarily, but probiotic foods like kimchi, sauerkraut, coconut yogurt, tempeh, etc. I try to include something probiotic at every single meal. And, I've been incorporating prebiotics too...green bananas, acacia fiber, asparagus, potatoes, etc. Ever since I read the book Super Gut, and led the Thriving Gut Series with Dr. Abigail Seaver, I've realized that the modern gut is often severely lacking in microbe diversity and has limited good stomach bugs. Stomach bugs control sooooo many things...from cravings to muscle creation, skin health, mood, and even memory strength. We truly want the best stomach bugs on our team, and the more the merrier! Probiotic foods are a HUGE help. But they can only do their good work if we also make sure we include plenty of prebiotics so they have enough nourishment to stick around! Intermittent fasting can be a huge help in healing the gut as well, but I talk enough about that in other posts, and it's good to change it up sometimes!

Welcome to our newest member!
Iโ€™m super excited to welcome to the Thrive Community, @Laurentine Tenbosch !! She is co-producer of the Food Matters movie, which we showed at the Health X Summit. Linking it below for anyone who hasnโ€™t watched it, or who watched it a long time ago. Seriously, go see it! It was initially released in 2008, but the information is super relevant, to this day! She is also co-creator of the amazing Food Matters Nutrition Certification program, which Iโ€™ve started doing just this week! That was where I learned that sesame seeds have the highest concentration of calcium per serving, out of all foods. Welcome to Thrive, Laurentine!! Please give her a warm welcome in the comments, Thrive Tribe! @Alex McMillan , @Kate Galli , @Lorene Roberts like yourselves, Laurentine also hails from Australia. @Georgiana D , @Ruth aka Grace Rose , @Adriana Skura-Palmer , @Marama Elizabeth , @Joshua Haag, @Ada Draedan , @Joy Lewis , @Sharon Horne-Ellstrom , @Victoria Gallagher , @Jenn Lukesh , @Mary Rose , @Abigail Seaver , I think you would all enjoy the Food Matters Movie, and connecting with Laurentine! Feel free to say hi to her in the comments!

First, a genuine thank you to @Vasi Smith i for holding space where real offers get real visibility. That's a gift. I'm Marama ~ permaculturist, certified herbalist, and frequency healing practitioner with 25 years of embodied practice, currently in the Northern CA Sierras. The thread running through everything I do: practical ancestral intelligence, made livable again. Growing food from seed. Working with plants as medicine. Restoring the seasonal kitchen skills that got quietly outsourced. Building the kind of real-world competence that doesn't depend on a supply chain. NaturWise Living is a Skool community built around exactly that ~ and it's just moved into a cleaner structure: ๐ŸŒฑ Standard ~ Free Foundational discussions on food, land, plant wisdom, and seasonal living. Community conversations. Access to intro to foundations. A real starting place. ๐ŸŒณ Premium ~ $44/month (founding rate, available now until the 20th) Two live 90-minute Study Circles each month ~ herbal wisdom, garden practice, seasonal living. Full foundational course. Seasonal challenges and guided practices aligned with nature's actual cycles. Call recordings library. An intentional group container designed for depth, not volume. If you're done collecting information and ready to build real capability ~ this is the place. Drop a comment or find me here and I'm happy to answer questions.

Marama brings lifelong experience in permaculture, herbalism, and frequency healing into a space that's practical, rooted, and deeply wise. It's about growing food, working with plants, and rebuilding the kind of knowledge that keeps us resilientโ€”no matter what. If you're into any of this, come join us.
