My first bi-fold wallet
Lots of lessons learned on this one. Pretty excited for the final result. 1 final seam to stitch left.

Introduction Post
Hey all, let's get to know each other. just something simple, say hi, maybe where you are and something interesting about yourself. Let's post a picture of where you (or are going to) do your leatherworking.

Yeah, I like to think that the photos don’t do the work justice

Stepped out of my comfort zone and tried my hand at making some sheaths, I liked how this one turned out best. Any suggestions on how I can improve would be appreciated.

Did you draw up the pattern yourself? I have been thinking of making one like that but turning the sheath section a little more to the horizontal. I am still new enough to where doing something without a pattern is out of my comfort zone.
How do you work?
Do you prefer working in silence, music, or background noise?

Wanting advice on where to find a place to gain experience
As I am starting my journey and discovering the costs associated with working in leather, it strikes me that if I could find a place that could help me gain experience and be willing to let me work off the costs, that would be a great opportunity. What advice would you give me? (I realize that is a pretty generalized question, but hope that the essence comes through). My wife has started selling crochet items at local markets, and I have put a few items in to her table, but haven’t sold anything at this point. Here are some of the things I have done up to this point.

That is a great insight. I have been relying on my wife while she is at the craft fairs to handle everything while I handle the home front. I will look around for options on the apprenticeship idea. YouTube has been filling that role up to this point. I will check out the classes. Thanks for putting those together.
