@Jane Harbison Thanks it was a lot! So happy it's behind me now. 😊
What do you do for a living?
What do you do during the week for work? If you no longer work what did you use to do? For many years I was an accountant/commercial manager. It was only at 40 that I returned to a creative field (where I should have been all along). I started by doing an intensive graphic design course and I loved it. While I was finding my creative feet, I served on independent school boards. It was in these roles I got to experience what good working relationships between men and women can achieve. Your turn.

@Jane Harbison it was an experience for sure. Lots of high profile people, beautiful limited products, and custom alterations. I did love it but the stress levels were very high too. Directors were harsh and unyielding. The Devil Wears Prada is an accurate account!

@Jane Harbison oh yes, my sister was also in the business and we just laugh about it now. We just watched the first one last nightso we would be ready for the second one anytime now. It will for sure be fun!
How I create colour combinations
1. I use a method I call 5 Colour Method (5CM). - Bold - Complementary - Neutral - Light - Dark 2. I choose the colours from a Colour Type (in your Fabric Formula - Level 5. This is normally $80 DIY). This way I know they will go together. 3. I then use a Colour Scheme to make sure I have balance. For example this 5 colour combination is: Colour Type: Autumn Colour Scheme: Split Complimentary I will be sharing a bit more about this during our 10 day Moodboard Scavenger Hunt this month 11-20th May. I have also included an example of cushions that use this colour combination.

@Jane Harbison I love this color combo! I have always been a colorful person, but I’ve been gravitating towards neutrals more and more.

@Jane Harbison exactly! It’s so easy when you’re working with neutrals as a base. 😍
