Hello parents and guardians, It’s been a fantastic first half term - the enthusiasm and progress from both groups have been brilliant! Just some clarification on marking and time management in the sessions. To make the most of lesson time, I often ask pupils to share quick answers aloud or in the chat. For longer exercises, I may show the answers briefly and ask pupils to use the lesson recording to finish marking. Also: if pupils don’t finish all the work in lesson time, they’re welcome to complete it later as optional homework using the recording to check answers. This approach keeps lessons fast-paced and focused on learning new skills, rather than spending too long marking when pupils have already shown they understand the key ideas. Recordings are uploaded on the same page as the worksheets - I add them within a day of each lesson. Thank you for your continued support, Dale

Hello everyone! My name is Dale and I'm looking forward to seeing some Year 5 faces (both new and familiar) in the Year 5 Maths lesson at 6:45pm on Friday. @Sheena Chan and I will be using different meeting links for the alternating English and Maths sessions. Please make sure to observe the "Calendar" section of the Skool website to ensure you are access the correct meeting. Maths lessons will be held on Google Meet - this is best accessed on the internet through a laptop or computer but the Google Meet mobile/tablet app is also an option. Speak soon!

Next, week (Sunday the 6th of July), the children will require access to their Atom Learning accounts during the live lesson. They will not be able to participate in the lesson without access to Atom. Please ensure that the children are logged into Atom Learning before the lesson starts and are able to switch between the video call and the Atom website.
