What a 2021 Nobel Prize might mean for natural healing?
Many of us here already work with the body through touch in one way or another. Bowen, acupressure, reflex points, fascia work, EFT - these are some of my tools, as therapist (some of you might know me more in my capacity of a coach and mentor). We know from experience that pressure and structured touch influence our nervous system. In 2021, the Nobel Prize in "Physiology or Medicine" category was awarded for the discovery of the receptors that allow the body to sense pressure and mechanical stimulation. In simple terms, how physical touch is translated into electrical signalling inside the nervous system. For me, this is interesting because it explains in biological terms something practitioners have observed and used for millennia. _______________ Recently I discovered and started studying a form of wearable technology based on the above discovery - working only through patterned tactile stimulation on the skin. There are no ingredients involved, no electricity, no magnetic field - nothing that enters the body. The idea is simply to provide structured sensory input and allow the nervous system to respond in its own way. Some users report noticeable effects, others describe subtle changes. A friend of mine from Norway introduced me to this system with something that sounds really close to miraculous. He has been in a wheel chair for 26 years with multiple sclerosis, I've known him since 2018. My interest spiked when he sent me a video showing him getting up from the wheelchair and walking about 5 meters, after 3 days of using the device. _______________ What did this lead to? I created a public community - Everyday Wellness Systems - where I share all the information I gather about products, medical reviews, conversations of this solution and one more (for now). I break down how the subscription-based wellness systems work, what they are designed to do, and where the limits are. It is a community-library intended for orientation before a decision is made.

@Adriana Skura-Palmer I am waiting for my first order to arrive. But I know from two friends who have used them that they are very satisfied. Their appearance even changed - they glow, look fresher. And of course the greatest proof for me is what happened with Lars, my friend from Norway. Which patch or patches did you use for energy?

@Adriana Skura-Palmer it might have been just not the right thing. Also, sometimes they work better when combined. As well as there is a different type of energy that one can activate. It is important to known a bit more about the specific symptoms. I have been collecting detailed reports on possible uses, so that people expand their understanding and be better informed.

Day 1- Not-Your-Typical Intermittent Fasting Challenge
You can read through day 1 here in the classroom. It’s available on Level 2…if you’re not there yet, just make a comment and like 3-4 people’s comments and you’ll be there in no time! Or you can watch the video below, that goes over Day 1 and Day 2. Each day’s tasks are pretty short, so you can choose to combine them into one day, or split them up and do one day at a time. Share your progress, thoughts, and updates in the comments below.

Super SLOW weight lifting…yay or nay?
I personally love doing some repetitions of super slow weight lifting. It helps me to feel like I’m getting a good workout and really working my muscles even with my small 5 and 3 lb dumb bells. I often put them together to make 8. This article talks more about how slow weight lifting works and who it’s for (it’s not for athletes!) What do you think, yay or nay on slow weight lifting?

@Vasi Smith I can imagine that, too, yes. To me, yoga feels “more effort” while taichi is easier and natural. But it’s a matter of personal preferences. I have been through past life regressions with “memories” of being a martial artist in other life times. Even when I go dancing, my movements often come out as specific sequences from bagua or taichi 🤗☯️
