FESTIVAL MARKETING
I'm having a major prize draw at this Sunday's Pets Life Festival, I'm attending. Would love to hear what others have offered at events like this. I'm thinking a major prize of a $1000 voucher (session plus $750 credit). Then runner-up vouchers of $500 (session plus $250 credit). My prices start at $750 for an 11x14 wall piece. I've also donated a voucher to the event organisers for a fundraising raffle on the day. The winner has to be there when it's drawn and come and visit me.

@Ina Jalil it's the first time I've ordered tshirts from Canva. They feel lovely. The women's is AS Colour Mali and the men's is AS Colour Staple. The only downside is they only offer four colours: Black, white, dark navy or merle grey.

@Stacey Sherman thanks I’m glad it helped! The Canva t-shirts are great and long in length. I’ve created a few for clients as a gift and referral tool. I bought three easels too to display my artwork. I saw a post elsewhere yesterday of someone’s event stall and they had all their artwork sitting on the ground. Easels would have uplifted their overall display and perceived value.

Share your wins this week, big or small!! My wins: - I’ve created a 12 months mastermind and I’m so excited to have @Jo Lyons and @Yunet Solorzano signed up this week! It’s going to be an amazing year working with you both supporting you with your marketing! - Had a great $4k sale this week from a client who came in from one of my pet of the season giveaways. I’ve got a few more ordering appointments this weekend and I know at least 2 are wanting to purchase a portrait box or album and a wall collection. Kind of a win but not quite! I updated my pricing structure and received a lead straight away wanting to book… however her phone and postcode were odd so I emailed her to check as I couldn’t call. Turns out she’s in Queenstown NZ! She found me on Google using “Pet and Family Photographer” I tried this using incognito and adding Queenstown and I came up second in the results with my blog post about Barkzealand which I attended in 2019. Anyway I wrote back to tell her that’s why I came up. She said she’d love to book me if they ever come to Australia 😂

Can’t wait to jump in Ina! My next book project is my biggest goal and just last night I secured my model for the marketing campaign. We are planning to shoot it in the next two weeks.

Wall Art
I'm looking to switch labs and am looking at Seldex, Global Image and Atkins. I'm probably going to choose different labs for different reasons. I'd love to hear from others who use any of these labs and their thoughts. I do have an Artisan Canvas with an ornate frame from Seldex, which I love, and also a torn-edge framed fine art piece (pictured below). Canvas is probably the finish I'm most interested in hearing about - boxed canvas - if others have them from any of these three labs.

@Ina Jalil you do need to pay $6 for that. I have my own I use but for drop shipping it’s great to have this as an option.
