I've been working remotely for the past 4 years and last year I tried to use Upwork, but despite buying connects and costs me lots of money, I never get a job! only an interview and turns out the employer only want to find a very cheap labour with a high expectation. 100% of my upwork expriences are very toxic. most of them are ghosting me as well. Does Upwork still relevant? or it's a toxic freelance platform to begin with? Do you really get rich from Upwork? but why I never find jobs despite spending $$ for connects?
