Should I Build a Dedicated Skool Community for Night Shift Nurses? 🌙 (Need your honest feedback!)
Hey Skool Hub! I'm A.X. Hale, a frontline nurse and author of Fueling the Night Shift. I wrote the book to solve the lack of practical nutrition and energy advice for those of us living on a flipped schedule. Now, I'm considering building a dedicated Skool community, but I need your honest feedback first. Most nurse communities focus on career transitions or general burnout. I want to create a space focused purely on the gritty, day-to-day survival and fuel of the night shift: - 🍎 3 AM Nutrition: Swapping real meal prep ideas and hydration strategies that actually work. - 😴 Sleep & Energy: Routines for surviving the post-shift crash and the "flip." - 💬 Peer Connection: A judgment-free zone where eating dinner at 7 AM is completely normal. Should I build this? - Night shift nurses: Does this sound like a space you'd actually join? What's your #1 challenge you'd want solved here? - Community builders: Do you think a niche this specific can thrive on Skool? I'm open to all thoughts—is this a "nice-to-have" or an "I've been looking for this forever" type of community? Check out the book that sparked this idea here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HC52ZHYT Drop your feedback in the comments! 👇

@Steve Cobble Thanks so much for sharing your NHS night shift experience, Steve — totally agree, night shifts really take a toll. Your point about validating the offer directly with people in these roles is spot on. I’d love to keep this conversation going. Would you mind sharing your email? I’d be happy to send over a free copy of my book as a small thank you for your thoughtful feedback.

@Steve Cobble Perfect Steve! I just emailed you. Thank you so much for your feedback, hope you enjoy the book.
Having plenty of ideas was never my problem. Organizing them into promotions people could actually understand? That was another story.
When you’re building Digital Business After 40, the ideas keep coming: A new offer. A helpful post. A special promotion. A campaign you swear you’ll finish “later.” Before long, your brilliant business plan starts looking like 27 open tabs, half a notebook, and a sticky note you can no longer find. That is exactly why I had to get Sellery. Sellery takes your ideas, offers, and content and turns them into a clear promotion plan—so you know what you’re promoting, what to say, and how everything works together. No more randomly posting and hoping people connect the dots. No more great offers sitting quietly because you weren’t sure how to campaign around them. No more trying to manage an entire marketing department inside your head. If you have something to sell, you need a clear way to promote it. Every business needs Sellery. This hits so close to home! Tons of ideas but struggling to weave them into a cohesive promotion plan is my constant battle. Thanks for sharing about Sellery, Tina! It sounds like exactly the tool to tame all those scattered content and campaign ideas 💛
Sharing my new book + free review copies — "Fueling the Night Shift"
Hi all — A.X. Hale here, registered dietitian and former night-shift nurse. I recently published "Fueling the Night Shift," a realistic eating guide built specifically for people working overnight shifts. Link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HC52ZHYT If you know any nurses, shift workers, or health-content readers, I'd love an intro — and I'm giving away free copies in exchange for honest reviews right now. Comment or DM and I'll send one over. Appreciate this community, always glad to support others' launches too.

Do night shift nurses actually need their own community?
I wrote a small book called Fueling the Night Shift - it's about what nurses eat, or don't eat, on 12-hour overnights. Vending machine dinners at 3am, coffee as a food group, the 4am crash that no amount of caffeine fixes. What surprised me wasn't the nutrition research. It was how alone people sounded. Night shift nurses live on an inverted clock. Their friends are asleep when they're working and awake when they're sleeping. Day shift coworkers don't really get it. Their families don't really get it. Most wellness advice assumes you eat breakfast in the morning and sleep when it's dark - useless if your body is running eight hours out of phase with the rest of the world. So here's what I keep circling back to: Is there room for an actual community for night shift nurses? Not another Facebook group full of memes and travel-nurse recruiters. Something smaller - shift-hour meal swaps, sleep protocols that actually work, people online at 3am who understand why you're online at 3am. Or does it already exist and I just haven't found it? Genuinely asking. If you've built a community around an unglamorous, specific niche like this - did the "we're the only ones awake right now" angle hold it together, or did it fade once the novelty wore off?
