4x4 Anchors
@Sir Cobalot Would I be able to use these?

I've seen ground screw foundations that are meant to support 4x4 post frames. I've considered doing something like that.
Posts vs Pier Blocks
@Sir Cobalot I know you've used post foundations and also pier block foundations. Do you treat your posts? If so, what do you use? And if not, do they have any issues that you've noticed? Also wondering if you prefer posts in the ground or on pier blocks and why. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

@Sir Cobalot Pretty much what I thought, but always helpful to have your opinion since you've done it so many times and so many different ways.

@Sir Cobalot I'm actually planning to relocate, so I'm waiting to find the right piece of land and then I'll be building some cobins there.
Pallet type
Being new both here and to the building method I thought it appropriate to ask: should wall pallets have boards on both sides?

That's always ideal. If they have a few gaps you can will them in with fence boards.
Project update on our hobbit cobin
Project is coming along well… Just about finished with the framing, ready to start cobbing this weekend ! Wish more forks in this community lived closer to me and could come down to help with the cobbing, as that is the extra fun part. I’m really excited about this project, it’s a great place to feature the Palletable Cobin design.

@Sir Cobalot Looks so good! Where is the project located? Depending on timeframe I may be able to get out there and give you a hand.

@Sir Cobalot I'm hopefully putting my house on the market next weekend to sell. Once it's listed I'll be fairly free.
Land-for-Labor / Stewardship Opportunity – (Alabama)
Hey fam,I have 49 acres in Alabama and I’m looking for a few aligned folks to help start building cob / natural shelters and care for the land. This is a work-trade / land stewardship exchange (not paid): help with natural building and land care in exchange for a place to live and steward the land. Values (non-negotiable):Plant-based/vegan land use (no hunting), no stealing, no killing, no destroying. My original vision was rammed earth (vision images attached), and more recently I’ve been called toward cob. I’ve attached recent photos of the property as well — there’s also a spring on the land. It’s been vacant for 30+ years, and I feel the ancestors calling me back. I could really use a hand. If this resonates, comment or DM with your availability. Let’s live, learn, and build sustainable shelters and community. 🌍

@Jessica Amanda My girlfriend is a single mom currently trying to find land to build something for her and her son to live in. She would love to help out with taking care of the land. Where in Alabama is it?
