Operational Calm, The Physiological Reset, & Physical Adversity
Team, We just wrapped up our first live Deep Work Session inside the platform, coming right off an outstanding feature interview with Sharon over on Supersize Your Business. For those who weren't in the room live, here is your debrief from today’s session and how we are translating it into actionable work this week. 1. Operational Calm & Non-Reactive Execution We opened the call by establishing the baseline definitions of Operational Calm and Non-Reactive Execution. When high-friction environments, shifting timelines, or operational failures hit, the default human response swings to extremes: passive withdrawal or aggressive action. Both burn leadership capital and destroy situational control. Command of any room, squad, or crisis starts with absolute command of self. You don't match chaos with chaos, you neutralize it. 2. The Physiological Down-regulation Protocol The group drove the conversation right into the physical mechanics of emotional regulation. You cannot make high-level decisions if your nervous system is stuck in a sympathetic fight-or-flight spiral. When you feel the high-stress spike hit, execute this immediate physiological reset: - Unclench the Jaw: Release held facial tension instantly. - Deep Nasal Breath: Inhale through the nose and force a slow, controlled exhalation to engage the parasympathetic system. - Open the Fists: Unclench your hands. Cycle them open-to-close, open-to-close a few times to physically signal to your brain that you are in control, not in panic. 3. Building the Capability: Self-Imposed Physical Adversity You do not build operational calm by sitting on a couch reading about it. You build it by voluntarily subjecting yourself to physical friction under controlled conditions. By exposing yourself to heavy loads, high-density work, cold exposure, or intense breath-control drills, you intentionally trigger a sympathetic nervous system spike. The goal of the training isn't just physical output, it's practicing the physiological reset while under load. If you can maintain composure, unclench your jaw, and control your breath while your body is screaming under a heavy load, staying calm in a high-friction meeting or crisis becomes second nature.

Day 2, MST Challenge Zone
Physical Tier Completed ~ 2 rounds, okay, swapped out the Wall sit hold for a squat hold. I don't have a real wall, I live in a yurt Mental Capacity Key Takeaway ~ Combo ~ I either check out of home life, because I do not have the capacity to change my living situation right now, and lock in to work most of my time. Resiliency Task Status: EXECUTED, easy, I already do that for 10 hours per day anyway.

@Sharon Horne-Ellstrom For me it is so difficult to focus one task , even for 15 minutes and to hold the rules. I joined because I know @Aaron Murauskas work exactly with his training on these "rules" what my Business and Live is missing
DAY 3 Check and Challenge Summary
1. Physical Tier Completed Beginner Level 2. Mental Capacity Key Takeaway from the John Boyd Case Study👉Harvard Business School has defined an even simpler list of characteristics to describe an ‘adaptive organisation’.26 These five characteristics are:Elephants in the room are named (no issue is too sensitive to be raised at an official meeting and no questions are off-limits),Responsibility for the organisation’s future is shared,Independent judgment is expected, (personnel are able to comment on issues based on abilities, not just responsibility or authority),Leadership capacity is developed,Reflection and continuous learning is institutionalised👉 I think this can be used modified as Solo Skool community owner 🤔 the main rules are valid for Basics 3. Resiliency Task Status: EXECUTED 4. 3-Day Challenge Completion Statement 👉 It is suprisingly hard to follow Rules, Concenrate and Focus, even simple Tasks🫣🤔 Behavior is now much more aware of useless habits that blocking to Work effective🤔

@Aaron Murauskas feels I need energy and concentration to hold static rules for 15 minutes 🙄 this jumping around all the time inside my skool business already got much better after your session in my community. I focus tasks and allow to move to the next not before the first one is done. Bigger projects I split on daily tasks. Also I have learned to focus only this task for that moment 👉 no chat between, no phone, no eating or coffee brewing between
