This verse popped into my head for you today: Psalm 138:7-8 “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me.8 The LORD will perfect that which-concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands” I love that this verse describes the tightrope many of us feel we are walking every single day: in the MIDST of trouble, you will revive me. That word “revive” Means to live abundantly, to be quickened again, to be full of life. Vs 8: the lord will PERFECT (cause to come to an end, complete) That which concerns me: the word “concerns” is an interesting descriptive word that means “around, on, through, above, beneath.” This paints a picture of how our circumstances can encircle us. What would it look like to put your hand in Gods hand today, and entrust Him to cause to come to completion tbe things that encircle you today?

My youngest daughter has PANDAS. We adopted her from China in 2018 when she was 19 months old. We love her beyond words. But it has been the hardest 8 years of our lives. Every day, all day, dealing with anger, rage, aggression, screaming, slamming doors. She's just mad and angry all the time, about everything. She's bigger and stronger now, and honestly it can be scary when she goes into the rage episodes. She has kicked us in our stomachs, pushes us, pinches, scratches and screams at us. She has thrown water bottles and books at my head when I'm driving. Every day is hard, stressful and chaotic. I pray and beg God every day for healing on her. I am sick with Lyme disease and Chronic EBV. Also my 21 year old daughter is dealing with the same health issues I am, and my 14 year old daughter is dealing with extreme exhaustion and dizziness. It's too much. I can't handle it anymore. I want my family healthy and happy. Thank you for this verse, but honestly I keep wondering where are you God? 😪
