Today was the day I was hoping to push 6DegreesApp into public launch, and I know many of you were excited and cheering this on with me. I want to be transparent: I got unexpectedly sidelined today by legal matters connected to my mom’s estate, so I was not able to move through the final launch steps as quickly as planned. The good news: we are still moving forward. The app build is in the final launch-prep stage, and I’m working through Apple/Android submission details, screenshots, privacy info, review requirements, and the last pieces needed to make sure we launch the right way. This is not a stop. It’s a slight pause to make sure everything is submitted properly. Founding Members: if you haven’t already, please still log in, update your profile, add your recommendations, especially accommodations, and tell me any hiccups you notice. This week was such a full-circle moment. I got to share one of our first brick-and-mortar Founding Business Members, NB Cryo in New Braunfels, and it reminded me exactly why this app exists. We’re building a place where recommendations come from real people, trusted connections, friends, friends-of-friends, and the businesses our network actually loves.
