[ Reposted here from the VIP thread I wrote earlier, as it makes sense for it to be here as well. ] Here's something I created this morning in ShortPulse (even while on the call). It may be the first whole video I have done without using anything else. Creating the Character References I started by grabbing some clothes for my 3 avatars and then creating the mannequins for Lea and Audra (as they didn’t have any yet). I used to use character sheets for this, so I am gonna test this out and see how it compares. Then I went to edit and created all three mannequin sheets. Created the Character Reference Slots I went into each character and added a slot for them and grabbed all my assets from the Quick Slot Inventory (learned this the hard way by trial and error, but now that I have a rhythm, it’s much better). Create a keyframe replacing all the people in the original video. Had to create and chat a prompt to replace all the people with my characters. A little trial and error, as the two women in the back were coming out as children. A little more chatting fixed that. Now I have a clean keyframe for reference. Create a Motion Control video I started with the chat again and created my prompt. I gave it screenshots throughout the video and got a detailed prompt with descriptions of the scene and characters as well as timing. I ran this thing 4 different ways in the Motion Control tab, and it was a hot mess every time. (see attached 2nd vid) It would only run a 6-second video, and then it hallucinated everything at the end. I don’t know why, but Motion Control is not my friend. Create a Seedance 2.5 Video Same setup, but I could now access all my characters and then upload the source video and some screenshots of what things should look like, and then BAM! Perfect video in the wrong aspect ratio—TWICE! Reran again at 9:16; I so crave to get what you see attached. There is some goofy AI rendering at the bottom of the jump, but JFS! Post production None. Not yet anyway. Not sure I need to, and if I am truly gonna streamline things, it will be nice to not have to open Adobe Premiere every time. Maybe when I have no dialog that needs captions or extra SFX (Scotty showed some cool new slots that might be game-changers).
