I've had lots of false starts trying to learn piano. I've wanted to learn since about college age. I bought a piano as a birthday gift for myself but it has sat there lonely for almost four years now. I have the time if I could just get myself disciplined enough to sit and learn. But I have difficulties learning from online resources so I feel it'd be a waste to pay for and teachers in my local area are few and expensive. If I could just convince myself to start and work consistently I know I could eventually. So I joined here thinking maybe I might make some friends and accountability buddies in learning.
