hello everyone!
Hi! New to life insurance, as I have a background in healthcare and factory work. I'm going through nursing school and have become invested in insurance. Currently going through my exam FX courses, ready to hit the road and start making sales! I have a two-year-old daughter and am getting married next year. I enjoy building things, fishing, and going to concerts :)

10 x is easier than 2x
Personal development! Started this book this morning and I’m very excited to go through it. My other favorite book is by Dr. Hardy “the gap and the gain” highly recommend. It changed my life. REMEMBER, if you’re not growing you’re stagnant. We all want this big money but the growth starts here ❤️ first. 30 minutes of personal development everyday- be the person you want to be. You don’t have to wait!!! The best time to grow a tree is 20 years ago, the next best time is TODAY.

Studying for the license exam has been a great reminder of this. It's been encouraging - knowing that I can still learn new things and a reminder that new challenges are needed to grow and not be stagnant! Love those nuggets of wisdom you shared. Thanks Ashtynn!
Feeling stuck while studying for the exam?
For anyone who feels stuck or slowed down while studying for the exam: The best tip I can give is don't get too focused on remembering every page you read and taking extensive notes. I did that in the beginning and it slowed me down until I pivoted to skipping the note taking, skimming through and focused more on the practice quizzes at the end of each chapter. You can take those quizzes over and over, make sure you're getting an 85% or better every quiz attempt you take and move to the next chapter. It cut my study time in half and was still able to retain all the information I needed to pass the exam. Hope this helps!
