Tired but Trusting
When the days feel wild, remember, Gods grace is there to hold us strong. On the days when we feel like we are just holding on, swinging between chaos and calm, those are the days we lean into His grace even more. If today feels a little stressful, remember, He has always got you❤️

Homeschooling can be hard it’s good to know I have someone greater than myself to trust in!
The "Schematics" of Homeschooling
Schematics: a drawing or plan that shows the details of how something operates or is put together. Homeschooling has a lot of different elements involved. After all, you are most of the time "at home" not in a controlled enviroment with outside workers coming to clean and reorganize everyday after class is over! That in and of itself can cause problems, especially for Mom, or whoever the main person in charge of keeping the house in order is. Thankfully, there are many resources out there to help us in this area as Homeschoolers and I wanted to share with you today something that is just as important as doing the schoolwork daily, and that is teaching kids to help with the chores around the house. I recently have given over all of the kids laundry to: the kids. I also do not clean their rooms, unless I see something that needs a little detail here and there. I got a calendar and split into daily chores for the 6 kids that are usually always at home with me. I also gave my Senior a small list of what I expect out of him daily. Now my main job is to manage those lists and make sure that the kids are getting them accomplished daily. I call this the "Schematics" of homeschooling because you need to make a plan, draw it out, and then follow through in order for it to work. In the classroom tab you will find an example chore list of what I expect from my children daily. You can follow the steps I will lay out for you to help you create a chart for your kids and family and hopefully with a little training, your home will be on the path to running clean and well! There are many hours in our day even though they feel too short at times. It is when we use them wisely by planning, training and following through, that we will have the most success in our homes!
