Meals :)
Wish I could afford a juicer right now but not in the budget. So I started morning with the celery, ginger, turmeric, black pepper, cayenne, lemon and lime blended juice (needed to add some water to blend). Grapefruit and banana for lunch. Will be making a salad with some sauerkraut and pea shoots for dinner.

@Colette Starheim I just barely blend it. Also, I put on really rhythmic music and do silly little dance moves as I strain the pulp. Makes it more fun!
So far today
I worked out. Warmed up on my rebounder about 10 to 15 minutes using 2 lb weights. Then did squats with 8 to 12 lb weights. Then drank my organic green juice (2 celery stalks, small green apple, ginger, lemon, 2 carrots, 1 cucumber, and cilantro). Had to leave so no time to eat my grapefruits so I made a smoothie to take with me (power greens, hemp seeds, 1 cup strawberries, PB2 powder, 1 banana, vanilla, cinnamon. Within the next hour I will have my last meal of the day. Can’t wait to make the tahini lemon dressing in the recipe section for my salad.

@Sharon Trzcinski mine can last 3-5 days. I do this with dressings and salads when traveling
See good fruit in a store? Stock up 😍
When you see a fruit that you like is on sale or you just see a good quality fruit: stock up! You can eat it as is, make smoothies and freeze extra.

@Yuliya Goetsch I just finished making my first green juice. My son and I are enjoying it as he gets ready for a cello lesson. I have a pic to share but haven’t figured out how to post. Enjoy and to your health

@Brandee Ruiter thank you for your encouraging words. The truth is, the more I learn about my son’s needs by being on the spectrum, the more I think I also am on the spectrum. I don’t have a formal diagnosis but I see some of the qualifying characteristics in me too. So I guess I’m on many little journeys right now all headed towards a better understanding of myself. I keep going back to how I handle stress as I see my son have meltdowns that are hard to re-direct sometimes. This way of eating and being can only be a win- win for us all. ♥️
