@Erin Tarr I truly wish more people understood we absolutely have the ability to train our minds and choose our thoughts. The world could be so beautiful.
Big Idea Speaker Bootcamp
Virtual • Feb 9–13 • $197 I’ve read hundreds of TEDx applications. Most don’t fail because the speaker isn’t smart or interesting. They fail because the idea isn’t sharp yet. So I’m opening a small, virtual working room called the Big Idea Speaker Bootcamp. Over five live sessions (Feb 9–13), we’ll pressure-test one idea, refine it to a TEDx-level standard, and break down how strong talks are actually shaped and selected. You’ll also hear directly from three TEDx organizers who currently have open applications. 🎟️ Virtual Bootcamp | $197 If you’re serious about your idea, the link is in the comments.

Hi @Durrell Douglas - will you be opening another cohort in the future, or can we access this after the fact with the same level of interaction and mentoring?
TEDxThirdWard Talk Drop: Gina Carroll on Why Your Story Matters
In this powerful talk, TEDxThirdWard speaker Gina L. Carroll uncovers why you must write your life stories and how to actually get them down — started and finished. Her talk has garnered the most views from our first cohort who took the stage in March of this year: 115,853 views as of today (Sept 30, 2025). She shares deep insights, inspiring stories, and surprising facts about why your voice is needed in the storytelling universe. Gina, an author, editor, and writing coach, believes every story has an audience and is an important thread in the fabric of history. Whether you’re just beginning or trying to finish a manuscript, her message is about urgency, focus, and motivation to finally tell your story. Poll Question: If you hadn't yet, what’s the biggest challenge keeping you from writing your own story?

I haven't started writing for the public yet, but I've got so much prepped on the inside. This is my YEAR 1 of doing prep work for when I'm ready to be public facing.
