Introducing ASTRA: The Association of Students for Research in Artificial Intelligence ASTRA is a fellowship of high school students passionate about AI research. Our current focus is on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs), but we're always excited to explore new research directions! At ASTRA, we engage in genuine, graduate-level research. We are proudly supported by Rishab Jain and have made significant strides in AI research since our initial funding. This funding allowed us to run LLMs and submit research papers to the ArabicNLP workshop and EMNLP conference. Hey Rishab Academy, my recent video flopped... Or did it? Yes, the video is getting way fewer views, but I have been getting tons of great feedback from genuinely interested students! It's a 10/10 video, meaning that in the same amount of time as my last 9 other uploads, it got significantly fewer views. That's totally fine. Because the comments I have been receiving are way more valuable and meaningful than just views. So, in my eyes, it's not a flop at all. In fact, I consider this video a success because it has reached and connected with the people I wanted it to. Views are important for metrics and growth, but they don't determine the overall success of a video. As content creators, our main goal should be to create meaningful and valuable content for our audience, not just to chase views and likes. So, even though my recent video may have "flopped" in terms of views, it has succeeded in fulfilling its purpose and resonating with the right audience. And that, to me, is what truly matters.

Hey, my name is Rishab. I'm a student at Harvard College studying Neuroscience. I am most interested in Neuro x AI, and do research at Massachusetts General Hospital. I started coding when I was 6-years-old, making Android apps with my elder brother. When I was 13, I created a deep learning tool for segmenting the pancreas from CT and MRI scans, and was named one of TIME's 25 Most Influential Teens and America's Top Young Scientist. During COVID, as a freshman in high school, I made a Discord bot that reached 3M users, which taught me about product design and marketing. In my junior year, I started working on ICOR, which won Regeneron's Young Scientist Award at the International Science and Engineering Fair and was my first research publication. As a freshman at harvard, I am currently building ICOR further, and have also been involved in the education space, introducing research to young students. I am the chair of the International Research Olympiad — which reached over 3,000 students in its first year, and founder of the Qurios Institute — which help teaches research to young students. The Qurios team is currently building sciencefair.io under my guidance to help cultivate youth to get involved in science research through projects.
