This is the story of OUR LIVES
Right after the workshop I heard “the pepper tree”. 🌴 I ignored it. Then again. “ the pepper tree” So I have a green pepper 🫑 tree that I started to grow a little late in autumn knowing that winter would be coming soon. But what the heck. I thought my apartment will be warm enough so it will survive. As winter came I could see it striving I would say “ thank you, I love you ❤️ “ as I tended to it. On the last winter storm - I forgot to take it from the window and one day I checked and to my surprise the leaves 🍃 had frost bites and they slowly started to wither. I thought, “ What an unfair chance I gave this plant?” “Why did you force this plant to grown in such environment? “ And I felt bad, I took it down and placed it at the entrance of my apartment. Visually it did not look so well but I wanted to see her everyday, even if she was going to die. “It is the least I could do” I thought to myself. So today when my guides said to me 🫑 pepper tree and I looked. I had resolved in my heart that this tree won’t make it. But look at what my guides showed me. I did not realize that there are new leaves on this plant.behind the dried leaves 🍃 safely maturing out of sight was new life - new direction and a true lesson from God So here is the message of grace. Sometimes God puts you up front not to show what’s withering but to show others that through the grace of divine how you grow and evolve despite how you were meant to wither away. Your inner critic will say “ I am vulnerable” God says “ I got you!” ( the choice is yours who you trust - but behind your pain, disappointment, tears , grows a life you don’t see coming but God has a plan) Just because the environment may be unstable or not suitable does not mean that deep in the roots God does not already have a plan for you. Not because you feel burdened and no longer look the part because of things that are occurring means there is no chance for chamge. My pepper 🫑 tree to me: “ Look - I grow new leaves because deep down I choose that with love of self I can grow in any environment- no matter the circumstances because as the leaves withered it gave me the silence I needed to focus on ME.

Prayer & Reflection
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. — Proverbs 3:5–6 When Trust Comes Before Understanding So often, we want clarity before we trust. We want answers before we move. We want certainty before we surrender. But this verse reminds us that trust is not dependent on understanding. God does not ask us to have it all figured out. He asks us to place our hearts in His hands, even when the path feels unclear. There are seasons when life doesn’t make sense, when doors close without explanation, when delays feel like denials, and when we question whether we’re moving in the right direction. Yet Proverbs reminds us: When we trust God fully, not halfway, not conditionally, He does the work of aligning the path. Our role is trust. God’s role is direction. This week, reflect on this question: Where am I being asked to trust God instead of trying to understand everything? Sometimes peace comes not from knowing the next step, but from knowing Who is guiding it. A Prayer of Trust and Surrender Heavenly Father, We come before You with open hearts and willing spirits. You know the places where we feel uncertain, the decisions we are carrying, and the questions that have been weighing on us. Today, we choose to trust You not because we understand everything, but because we know You are faithful. Help us release the need to control outcomes, to stop leaning on our own limited understanding, and to rest in Your wisdom and timing. Teach us to acknowledge You in every area of our lives in our choices, our relationships, our work, and our waiting. Where the path feels confusing, bring peace. Where the future feels uncertain, bring assurance. Where fear tries to take root, plant trust instead. We believe that as we place our hearts fully in Your care, You are already making the way clear. We thank You for guiding us, for walking with us, and for always leading us in love.

Prayer & Reflection Wednesday
Psalm 34 18 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Reflection There are moments in life when words fail us, when the weight we carry feels too heavy to explain and too personal to share. In those moments, we may wonder where God is, or whether He sees the quiet ache behind our smiles. This scripture reminds us of a profound truth: God is not distant from our pain. He is closest to us there. God does not wait for us to be strong, composed, or “put together.” He draws near when our hearts feel fractured, when our spirits feel tired, and when we don’t have the energy to pretend everything is okay. The brokenhearted are not overlooked; they are held. The crushed spirit is not rejected; it is rescued. Sometimes healing doesn’t come as an instant change, but as the gentle reassurance that we are not walking alone. God’s presence becomes our refuge, not because the storm has passed, but because we are being carried through it. This verse invites us to stop striving, stop hiding, and simply allow God to meet us exactly where we are. Prayer Heavenly Father, We come before You just as we are without masks, without pretense, and without the need to be strong. You see the places in our hearts that are tender, weary, and hurting. Thank You for drawing near to us in those places, not turning away from our pain, but holding us in it. Lord, for every person who feels brokenhearted today, wrap them in Your peace. For every spirit that feels crushed under the weight of life, breathe new hope and strength. Help us to trust that You are working even when we cannot see it, and that Your presence is enough to sustain us. Teach us to rest in You, to lean on You, and to remember that we are never alone. May Your love heal what is wounded, restore what feels lost, and renew our faith day by day. We place all that we are and all that we carry into Your loving hands. Amen.
