Can you live on $1000 a month?
What do you spend in the country you currently live in?

I think $2000 a month is a more realistic figure to aim for.

I wanted to share one thing I started doing that I have seen great benefits from recently, and that's having a "Sabbath" day away from technology. I switch off my phone the night before and won't touch my computer for the whole of next day. The first few times you do it, it's wild to see how addictive you are to technology and how your brain tries to drag out to have that stimulation. After a bit of a struggle, I focused that energy into reading, and got more reading done in one day than I managed to achieve in a whole week. Give it a go if you have an opportunity, even if it's once a month, or just for one day.

@Errol Lem Absolutely. That's why I said if you are able. If you are making money daily then you got to do what you got to do, but then again, taking a break from work every once in a while is also important, or maybe if not a whole day, you can do the work that needs to be done and then get off line during the time you know you will just be browsing and not actually doing anything productive.

Hello guys.
Hi I'm Artur from Australia. I've taken time off my regular job to do some reconnaissance around the world to see which countries I can move to. While I couldn't handle Thailand long term (only due to the heat) it will certainly be a place I plan to take lots of trips to. I'd like to suggest a book I try to live my life by that all freedom lovers will love, and some may already know: "How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World: A Handbook for Personal Liberty" by Harry Browne.
