Fabric pen holders. Office year end gifts
Hi. I want to share what I'm making my 40 work colleagues...pen holders for our A5 note books. Since there is no money in the budget for gifts or year end parties, I'm working with what we have, note books, pens & a highlighter and sewing a pen holder for everyone

@Nikita Duminy I love this practical gift and that it's personalized with the initials. Thanks for sharing it with us 😁 Does the pen holder have something to attach it to the notebook?
Yesterday's doings
Yesterday evening I decided to sew these pencil pouches just to complete my day and feed my soul. I picked it from my cut and store container. The one zipper pull is on the wrong end. I always make such stupid mistakes.

@Nazeema Adonis I love the fabric you chose. Zipper pouches are so useful 😁
Device Cover, super easy, thank you Christine!
I couldn’t sleep last night, that Cape Town rain was a shocker, and to my surprise, the device cover I’ve been wanting to sew for over two years finally popped up on the app. I was so excited I even skipped church just to make this lol This was just a trial with scrap fabric, but once I add the batting and finish the real one, I’ll be back to show it off. Also, seriously, three young kids, pregnant with a fourth, and still posting tutorials and rocking that perfect nail in every video? Where do you even find the time for us? Thanks for the free content and endless motivation!!! You are truly my inspiration Christine ❀️

Apron live workshop in Valenciano language for extra challenge
Hello Group! I'm going to a 6-week sewing workshop in the village where I live. Until last week I thought we are making a skirt but it turned out to be an apron 🀣 this happens when you don't speak the local language properly and you have just started sewing and never seen a pattern before πŸ˜€ Let me share my progress. I bought a huge pair of jeans which I dissected and reused the material and the zip, and the waistband of the pants will be the strap. I ordered my machine after we started so this is the very first thing I make, as you can tell by the stiches. I'm still proud and will use it, the pockets will come handy. I guess we added the zip fastener and will add a button for practice. 3 classes to go, I don't think I will be able to add the bib part so I plan to finish only the bottom. Who thought this takes such a long time?

@Alice Aradi Great job! You can be very proud of this as your first project (never mind that you could only understand half of the verbal instructions) πŸ˜‚ Please share a picture with us when it's finished πŸ‘
