Kimi, Hermes, Claude who's who...
The AI model lineup is getting crowded and I love it. Here is where I'm at: I'm hardcore Claude. It's my daily driver, my thinking partner, the one I trust to actually get work done. If you've been around here, you know I'm not quiet about it. I'm currently learning Hermes and getting a feel for what it's good at. Still early days for me, but I'm curious. And Kimi is next on my list. I keep hearing the name pop up and I want to understand where it fits. So I want to hear from YOU: Which of these are you actually using? How do you like it? And why that one over the others? Tell me what it's great at, what drives you nuts, and what you'd never go back from. Drop it in the comments. I read every single one, and this is exactly the kind of thing that helps all of us level up faster together. Who's on what? Tell me everything!

@Nicole McCain AI I'm going to host it locally for now, use openrouter so I can choose cheaper llms, and focus on automating content creation. Fingers crossed!

@Nicole McCain AI idk, most of those who say local Hermes is not as good is also sponsored by Hostinger, which makes me skeptical. The only advantage I see so far is in VPN it can run 24/7 (I believe there is a workaround) but you also expose your data to increased security risk with VPN. I'll keep you posted on the testing.
💵 Money Maker: The intersection of domain expertise and AI
I'm helping one of my best friends build her new career. I think she's going to crush it. She is positioning herself as an AI Consultant She has 20+ years of experience in her specific niche. She also has been learning AI from me for the past 3 years. So now, she has this skill set of knowing her industry and knows exactly what AI can help them grow. This is such a big need right now. Whenever I work with teams, I'm always looking for the AI superstar that I can appoint as my person when we meet. Having someone to navigate them through this change is critical. Is anyone else here doing this? Here is the full article from the Harvard Business Review explaining the need: https://hbr.org/2026/02/to-thrive-in-the-ai-era-companies-need-agent-managers TLDR: This article is formally defining a role that sits at the intersection of domain expertise and artificial intelligence. Authored by Harvard Business School Professor Suraj Srinivasan and Salesforce COO Vivienne Wei, the article describes an agent manager as someone who defines tasks for AI agents, reviews their outputs, handles exceptions, optimizes workflows, and ensures quality standards over time. Critically, HBR is explicit: this is not a role for data scientists. It is a role for people who understand workflows, relationships, and outcomes in their industry, and can translate strategy into accountable execution.

I've spent the last 30 plus years in the addiction recovery space and currently work as a coach. Now I'm obsessed with AI, so I'm trying to teach other coaches how to use it as I learn it. I've been using it to automate my podcast production, create webinars, and automate my onboarding, not to mention all my social media and marketing. It's a lot! lol
Hey New Friends!
I have been lurking for a minute but I don't think I've introduced myself! I'm from Silicon Valley and worked as a tech sales rep for over 10 years before moving into the coaching space. I help CEO's, executives and business owners with stress management and productivity. I've been hosting a top 1% podcast for nearly 10 years and published a book that hit the #1 spot on Amazon last year. I'm pivoting to a role as an AI Partner for SMB / B2B so I'm looking for support and strategies to build a client base. Looking forward to learning from you all!

It's called The One Day At A Time Recovery Podcast - it's a focus on addiction recovery, covering everything from eating disorders, workaholism, alcoholism etc. Mostly its focused on mental health practices. We could do a whole session on stress management! There are specific tools around physical/nervous system care, emotion management, and connection. My personal toolkit includes practices like liberating belief journaling, Internal Family Systems, manifestation exercises, gratitude and intentional connection. :)

Hey Friends, Okay, I spent some real time this week going through our member profiles and y'all. This group is stacked.🔥 We've got AI experts, consultants selling AI services, web developers, automation builders, marketing pros, and a solid crew of small business owners adding AI into what they already do. Every single person here is sharp, motivated, and building something real. Here's the thing: AI can do a lot, but it can't build community. That part is still on us. So let's use it. Drop one thing in the comments that you think the rest of us should know. A fact about AI. A sports stat. A motivational quote. A song lyric that's been living in your head. Something that lit a fire under you recently. Someone scrolling this feed today might need exactly what you're about to share.
