Uhhhh... I killed my starter last week ๐Ÿคช I made my daughter a loaf, it passed all the tests, and then just never rose in the oven. Starting over is kind of fun, though!

I'm late, but Mondays are usually just super busy for me, and Tuesdays are currently my largest baking morning.
Iโ€™m thinking of starting a monthly live bake-along call ๐Ÿžโ˜•๏ธ
Update: it's a go!! It'll be once a month and will land on a Tuesday! The live will be an all day thing and I will post a thread you guys can comment on and see if anyone is able to join the call or just chat in the comments!! I see quality community coming from this! Building connections and learning together in full force๐Ÿ’ฏ will update with a post soon announcing when the first one will be! ----- It would tie into the challenge of the month! Maybe 30โ€“60 minutes long. Weโ€™d all show up with (or without) dough at any stage โ€” it wouldn't matter where youโ€™re at! It wouldn't be a class or a demo โ€” no one would have to do it โ€œright" or finish a loaf. Weโ€™d just chat, maybe sip some coffee, and notice whatโ€™s happening with our dough (relating to that monthโ€™s challenge, of course)โ˜บ๏ธ ๐ŸŒŸThe goal: Being at the table together, seeing the challenge in real time, and learning from each other!๐Ÿช‘ Would you join if we did this? I'd just need it to be a Tues, Wed or Thurs for me to be able to make it. My Monday's fly by so fast that I forget about the coffee chats most weeks.
For those of you advertising your bread for sale...
If you post on social media, hotplate, or have a website, how are you getting good pictures of your bread? I have a really well-lit kitchen, but my pics come out too yellowy, and if I take pics outside, they are too bright and almost washed out from the sun. The loaf is outside, and the focaccia is inside. Even with a ton of editing, these make my bread look like garbage!

@Samantha Mayers I just purchased some super bright whiter lights to put in the pendents above my island, which should help some, and I have a ring light that holds my phone, but I'll try getting a better contrast as well.
