Stitch of the Day
I definitely tend to avoid trends. I prefer finding problems to solve over being on trend.

@Suzanne Krasnow I've been setting up my Claude + Notion tracking system and I'm amazed at what it has been showing me.

@Suzanne Krasnow WARNING: There is a lot that goes into setting up both of those systems. But Claude can actually help you set up your first Notion tracking page. It can pull information from your sales account (not sure how it connects with Etsy but probably by MCP connection. you can just ask Claude how to do it and it will tell you the steps. I would suggest first setting up your personal preferences, then using Sabrina's Genius Mode method and setting up The Thinker in Cordelia's video before you do anything. and then watch what happens when you start talking with Claude.

Happy Weekend!!!! Anyone have any cool plans this weekend? Pretty boring over here.

I love that! Sadly I don’t have any fun projects on the agenda for the weekend. I have to clean my house. It has become unruly and is killing my creativity.
Question of the day
All day for me honestly but my mind tends to be sharper in the morning.

After 2pm until about 1 am is when my brain works best for sewing. But I'm having to adjust because I just moved my studio into a storage unit to work in but the hours I can access it are from 9am-6pm. I'm finding it very difficult to make that adjustment.

@Suzanne Krasnow I'm finding it much more difficult than I expected. But after spending so many years working those hours, which really is how I was wired from birth, it's a big shift. I'll be 59 next month and things I could do 20 years ago are a lot harder to do now. I like the morning sun and having my first coffee around 7:30am now. But my brain doesn't seem able to focus on sewing related projects until much later.
Question of the Day
Over 30 years for me, but not continuous. There were multiple 5-year chunks of time where the sewing machine never came out. Part of it was I didn't have a designated spot, and the rest is because life in the way.

Almost 35 years since I went to sewing trade school in Denver. And I’ve been actively sewing as a business ever since.
Question of the day!
Where in the world are you sewing from?

Golden, Colorado in my new mini studio that I set up in a storage unit. I used to have a large sewing shop business. It was time to downsize and just work on my projects.

@Suzanne Krasnow it is! Don’t know why I didn’t do it years ago! ♥️
