Just hit 100 members - party time! 🥳 Thought it'd be helpful to share with you 10 lessons I've learned along the way (and wish I knew earlier) so you can grow your Skool community more effectively & keep your members happy to lessen churn. I've also included 4 things I "hate" about Skool, AKA 'Wishlist Features' that I feel would make Skool even better. This is a big milestone for me and I'm so stoked to have made my 'clear & definite aim' a reality! Next target: 1,000 members. Enjoy the lessons, and big thanks to @Sam Ovens for all of his YouTube mentorship over the years. Ted P.S. I'd love to hear what you've learned since using Skool... If you have any tips/strategies for: • Growing your Skool group faster • Keeping your Skool members happy • Using Skool more effectively as an admin/moderator/teacher Please comment below with what they are :) You rock.
Are there plans down the road for people to find other communities on Skool via search/recommendation? Assuming there is a search for communities, we would likely need to have a feature to label our community "niche." Or even allow individuals to recommend communities via their profiles. Excited for the upcoming announcements!
I think it would be great if we could highlight/state on the leaderboard page what prizes we are giving away to members that are contributing the most. I think this would encourage more contribution if people could see what they are actually competing for.
Had this idea after reading a post by Eli Richardson earlier. And a Few Ideas stemmed from that. I'm not sure if it's been requested previously, but I figured it would be worth looking into. I'm just new to this platform in the past 3-4 days so if anyone else has explored this idea then awesome. Special Badge Contribution Idea For a person that contributes the most in a 30 day period, can they be awarded a special icon / badge for the following 30 day period? Like a gold crown or something.... Eg if Roman Pearl is a top contributor for October, he would get a specific icon or badge for the Month of November as he was the top contributor for the preceding month. Parameters on how this can be measured: - For a calendar month (more beneficial) and they can have this for the next 30 days in the following month, then the person who wins the subsequent month will get the crown on the next month and so on. Other Ideas: - Hall of Fame (obviously need to make it hard to get into) - Award icons (how many times they've been awarded Top contributor for a Month). I feel with this visual, it would be a cool element to add and would likely to create a little more competition and engagement, as well as a sense of achievement. Just figured I would throw a few ideas to be looked into and explored.
I'm starting a jazz guitar community and would want my members to be able to upload videos as posts so that I and other members can give support and feedback on their playing. My community is mostly older men, so some are not the most tech-savvy. I tried uploading with "Add attachment" but then it just shows the file. That won't work because people won't download multiple user video files just to be able to give feedback. Any better solution? @Sid Sahasrabuddhe
