Gratitude 🙏❤️
This week we did something beyond amazing: The Finale of SPEAKERx cohort 2 ✨ 8 beautiful people went through training for 6 weeks to go from Idea to Signature Talk delivered on a stage in front of a live audience. -> From Page to Stage The work that every individual put in to create the talk, develop, rehearse, optimize and deliver.. I’m so incredibly proud 🙏 The videos from the event will now go into editing and in the coming weeks we will be posting them here and on Youtube. I want to thank every single person who took part in the event, speakers, staff and guests. This experience is what we create together 🙏❤️

This was an amazing experience, very challenging and had moments of doubt, but thankfully I was in the amazing hands of @Alexander Grabner Jarlung and @Lucas Reuterstig guiding me all along the way. Met amazing people and grateful I was apart of it💪❤️

@Stipe Romac that's what I think anyway, if it's personal and real, then it can be relatable. Without being smart or sounding like an idiot, it's hard to pick one story Stipe. Kids born 11 weeks premature and in ICU for 5 and a half weeks and another 18 days in a special unit. Fighting brain cancer for the last 12 years, being left half paralysed and told I'll never get back to normal. Or in the middle of both those things, my Dad being diagnosed with an aggressive terminal brain tumour and moving on from it.. Theres alot more but those are the mains ones, I didn't mean for this message to be this long 🤦😱

@Stipe Romac apologies for the delay. I've only given a few speeches in my local group. I've noticed a few with tears in their eyes whilst I'm discussing heartfelt or tough times in the speech. Real stories can be hard hitting

My Story - Ceilings aren't for everyone
Hi Everyone. I'm Anthony, a 4 time brain cancer survivor, I've what's called a reoccurring brain tumour, which means eventually it will get the better of me. I've had 4 brain surgeries, and each one left a severe mark on me. Epilepsy, falls and breathing difficulties. I lost my speech for 6 months. Last year, I had my 4th brain surgery and I was half paralysed because of it, my left side was completey dead (weight). I couldn't move. 8 straight months of rehabs facilities. In that time I had 3 doctors and my physio tell me, you need a ceiling, and you're never getting back to normal. Today, I'm back running 5Ks. I don't swim lengths of a pool, I swim kilometres, I cycle, and I'm back in the gym. I want to become a public speaker to help people in their darkest moments, to let them know that it doesn't stay dark forever. I'd like to motivate them to push for more and do better in life. That there is no ceiling for any of us. You must be all in, do, or die. Love life, zoom out, don't let the small things bother you, keep them small, and stay focused on your goal. If I can help one person to take anything away from my difficult experiences, then it was worth it.
